该研发园位于中国东部城市杭州,为全球领先的移动通信设备制造商华为提供了充足的研发空间。研发园位于杭州西北部,占地 251,000 平方米,坐落在郁郁葱葱的水景之中,设有办公室、行政大楼和可容纳 8,000 名员工的食堂。知识园和景观园和谐地融为一体。
Located in Hangzhou, eastern China, the R&D Park provides Huawei, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of mobile communication devices, with ample space for research and development. Embedded in a lush waterscape, the 251,000-square-meter site located in the northwestern part of the city features offices, administrative buildings, and a canteen for 8,000 employees. The Knowledge Park and the Landscape Park merge into a harmonious whole.

园区所在的社区建筑密度高,而园区则被设计成一个带有低层建筑的宽敞公园——建筑和景观紧密交织。施工期间挖出的土壤被用来塑造高达七米的山丘,突出了广阔的景观,吸引游客前来发现和探索这个公园。景观设计的核心是一个湖泊,它吸引游客漫步,并提供宜人的微气候。这个湖泊在水管理中也发挥着至关重要的作用。一条环形公路环绕着无车场地,将公园与交通区清晰地分隔开来。
Nestled into a densely developed neighborhood, the corporate campus is designed as a spacious park with low-rise buildings – architecture and landscape are closely interwoven. The soil excavated during the construction phase was used to model hills to a height of up to seven meters, which accentuate the expansive landscape, inviting visitors to discover and explore the park. The centerpiece of the landscape design is a lake, which stimulates the senses, invites visitors to stroll, and provides a pleasant microclimate. It also plays a vital role in water management. A ring road runs around the car-free site, clearly separating the park from the traffic areas.

六座模块化建筑沿着细长的湖岸排列,用于容纳研究设施和办公室。这些直线形建筑与有机地形和郁郁葱葱的自然环境形成鲜明对比。五层建筑的定位类似于双纽线,象征无限:两个方形体量,每个体量都有一个中央庭院,它们在角落处相连。在一楼,这些建筑通向将公园和庭院交织在一起的通道,创造了一个自然景观连续体。庭院还设有各个部门的入口。这个综合体由两个较小的模块组成,用于管理和服务部门、一个门卫室和一个位于园区中心湖岸的中心食堂。狭窄的露台将两层食堂的面积延伸到户外,可直接通往湖泊,让人们不受干扰地欣赏到公园景观。

A total of six modular structures accommodating research facilities and offices are arranged along the shore of the elongated lake. The rectilinear buildings contrast with the organic topography and lush natural surroundings. The positioning of the five-story structures resembles a lemniscate, the symbol of infinity: Two square volumes each with a central courtyard connect at their corners. On the ground floor, the buildings open onto passageways that interweave the park and courtyards to create a natural landscape continuum. The courtyards also house the entrances to the individual departments. This complex is complemented by two smaller modules for administration and service units, a gatehouse, and a centrally located canteen situated on the lakeshore in the middle of the campus. Narrow terraces extend the area of the two-story canteen to the outside, providing direct access to the lake and an undisturbed parkscape view.

建筑模块的立面展现出实用的美感和清晰的结构。三个主楼层和一个后退的顶层补充了开放式底层布局。主楼层采用大窗户和阳极氧化铝制成的封闭表面,以及环绕建筑的外向遮阳板。配备屋顶光伏系统的顶层旨在通过后退的形式为绿色屋顶腾出空间。

The building modules’ façades show a functional aesthetic appeal and a clear structure. Three main stories and a recessed top floor complement the open ground-floor layout. The main floors feature large windows and closed surfaces made from anodized aluminum, as well as outward-turning sunshades that wrap around the building. The top floor equipped with a rooftop photovoltaic system is designed to provide additional topography through recesses to free up space for green roofs.
