幕幕剧场（mumu theater）是“繁星戏剧村”旗下首个商业空间剧场品牌。这不仅仅是一个专为孩子及家长量身打造的专业亲子剧场，更是一个集书店、展览、艺术教育、文化市集等为一体，富有社区精神的演艺新空间。因此，如何处理“特定时间段下的剧场演出”与书店、培训、文化展览等“日常经营活动”的关系，以及如何塑造新型演艺空间，成为本次设计的重点。

Mumu Theater is the first commercial theater brand under the “Starry Drama Village”. It is not just a professional theater designed specifically for children and their parents, but also a new performing arts space that integrates a bookstore, exhibitions, art education, cultural markets, and other community-centered activities. Therefore, the key focus of this design is to address the relationship between “theatrical performances at specific time slots” and “daily operations such as the bookstore, training, and cultural exhibitions,” as well as how to create a new type of performing arts space.

以幕布为灵感的流动空间

Flowing Space Inspired by Theater Curtains

项目场地位于商场东南角的临街三层，面积共 930 平方米，拥有多处挑高空间。设计团队以“幕布”为概念，根据场地的空间特点，运用曲线组织划分了多个类型的剧场空间——“下沉小剧场”“方空间”“幕幕剧场”以及“上空间”等，以满足多种演出形式及活动的需求。

The project is located on the southeast corner of the mall, occupying a 930-square-meter space on the third floor with several areas featuring high ceilings. The design team adopted the concept of “theater curtains” as the core inspiration. Based on the spatial characteristics of the site, they used curved forms to organize and divide the space into various types of theater areas—such as the “sunken small theater,” “square space,” “Mumu Theater,” and “upper space”—to accommodate a variety of performance formats and activities.

“下沉小剧场”位于场地内靠近商场公区一侧入口处，灰绿色半围合的“圆筒”与向内不同尺度高低错落的弧形台阶，在入口处形成了一个鲜明又特别的空间形象，向商场里来往的顾客展示着自己“多重”的身份。它如城市广场一样，既可以承载小型艺术活动，又是人们休息落脚的地方。

The “Sunken Small Theater” is located near the entrance on the side of the mall’s public area. The gray-green semi-enclosed “cylinder,” along with the inwardly varying, staggered curved steps, creates a distinctive and unique spatial image at the entrance, showcasing its “multipurpose” identity to the mall visitors. Like a public square, it not only accommodates small-scale art activities but also serves as a resting place for people to pause and relax.

同时下沉剧场又与书店、水吧共同组成了日常经营区域。平日里，这里是一个充满童话色彩的亲子绘本馆，而在大剧场剧目上演的特定时间，又摇身一变成为了观众候场休息空间。

The sunken theater, along with the bookstore and the water bar, forms part of the daily operational area. On a typical day, it serves as a fairy-tale-inspired children’s picture book gallery, but during specific times when the main theater performances are taking place, it transforms into a waiting and resting space for the audience.

另一侧的“大黑筒”则是去往主要剧场空间的入口。整个剧场空间被处理为黑白灰色调，既呼应了人们对传统小剧场“黑盒子”印象，又与外围经营区域的戏剧化色彩形成反差。“大黑筒”扮演着空间转化器的角色，将人们从琳琅满目的商业空间传送到神秘的剧场空间。

On the opposite side, the “Big Black Cylinder” form serves as the entrance to the main theater space. The entire theater is designed in black, white, and gray tones, both referencing the traditional “black box” theater and contrasting with the dramatic colors of the surrounding commercial areas. The “Big Black Cylinder” functions as a spatial transformer, guiding visitors from the vibrant commercial space into the mysterious world of the theater.

其中，“幕幕剧场”是本项目的核心演艺空间。设置 183 座伸缩座椅以及 30 多个移动座位，可以满足戏剧演出、艺术展览、小型发布等各种不同的使用需求。

The “mumu theater” is the core performance space of this project. It is equipped with 183 retractable seats and over 30 movable chairs, allowing it to accommodate a variety of functions, including theatrical performances, art exhibitions, and small-scale presentations.

场地内另一个多功能空间——“方空间”，既是戏剧演员的排练厅，也是一个小型展厅、剧场，同时也可以作为亲子戏剧教室满足日常经营的需求。方空间有两个入口，其中一处与外围卡座水吧区相连，丰富了空间的使用场景，满足了不同的功能需求。设计团队通过合理规划人流动线，为同一时间段不同文化活动的举办提供了更多可能性。

Another multifunctional area within the venue, the “Square Space,” serves multiple purposes: it is a rehearsal room for actors, a small exhibition hall, a theater, and also a children’s drama classroom for daily operations. The Square Space has two entrances, one of which connects to the seating and water bar area, enhancing the variety of its uses and accommodating different functional needs. By carefully planning the flow of people, the design team has made it possible to host various cultural activities simultaneously in the same time period, offering greater flexibility.

“观与演”——演艺新空间的思考

“viewer-performer relationship”: Rethinking the New Performing Arts Space

在设计初期，设计团队就与业主一致决定打造一个更加开放的，面向商场空间的剧场。让戏剧不再只发生在犹如封闭盒子的剧场内部，希望以更友好、亲切的姿态，让更多的大朋友小朋友能够走进来，体验、感受剧场文化。

In the early stages of the design process, the design team, in collaboration with the project owner, decided to create a more open theater that faces the mall space. The goal was to move away from the traditional “black box” theater and invite theater to happen outside its closed confines. By adopting a more approachable and friendly design, the team aimed to encourage more people—both adults and children—to step inside, experience, and connect with theater culture.

This design method well divides the crowds in the bookstore area and the theater, and increases the area of the waiting area. The open space also welcomes people to come in ©金伟琦

因此在本次的设计中，设计团队将商业空间中“店面”的立面进行了最大化开敞处理，通过设置地面高差、区别材质颜色等手段，模糊了公共区域与“幕幕剧场”的边界，有意识的将剧场空间内的活动如舞台一般呈现给商场过往的行人。当观众在“看”表演的同时，幕幕也作为一个整体在“被看”。呈现出多种观演关系，提供一种全新沉浸式的体验。

In this design, the team maximized the openness of the “storefront” facade within the commercial space. Through techniques such as varying floor heights and contrasting materials and colors, the boundary between the public area and the “Mumu Theater” was blurred. The activities within the theater space were intentionally made visible to passing mall visitors, effectively staging the theater as a performance in itself. This creates a dynamic and interactive viewer-performer relationship, offering a new, immersive experience.

值得欣喜的是，幕幕剧场作为北京首批演艺空间培育项目，得到官方认证和扶持，期冀在未来有更好的运营发展。

It is worth noting that mumu theater, as one of the first performing arts spaces in Beijing’s cultural development program, has received official certification and support. The project is expected to grow and develop further in the future.

色彩与视觉

Color and Visuals

作为繁星戏剧村旗下的全新剧场品牌，视觉创意团队也为幕幕创作了全新的 logo、导视等视觉形象。新的 logo 意在表达一个连贯的帷幕。它也作为一个连贯的图形，被应用在各种物料上。设计团队希望可以打造一个与家庭能够产生共鸣，并让他们记住的品牌形象。“mumu”简单的拼写形式就是这样的存在。

As the new theater brand under Starry Drama Village, the visual design team has created a brand-new logo and signage for Mumu Theater. The new logo is intended to represent a continuous curtain, symbolizing the seamless flow of the space. This cohesive graphic is applied across various materials. The design team aims to create a brand image that resonates with families and is memorable to them. The simple spelling of “mumu” embodies this concept.
