The MixC Changchun project, developed for CR Land, is a vibrant urban destination that seamlessly integrates retail, offices, residences, and entertainment on a complex, multi-level site in Changchun, northeast China. Designed to address the region’s harsh climatic extremes—from freezing winters to sweltering summers—the project offers an adaptive, year-round space that prioritizes both commercial vitality and community well-being.

作为华润置地打造的全新地标项目，长春万象城是一个充满活力的全新城市目的地，是一个在复杂且层次丰富的场地上，结合了零售、办公、住宅和娱乐的商业综合体。作为中国东北地区的重要城市，长春市的气候对项目的打造具有一定的挑战性。ASPECT Studios 的景观设计旨在打造一个四季适宜、全年开放的适应性景观，优先考虑商业活力和社区福祉的条件下，无论是严冬或酷暑都能满足人们对于公共空间的使用需求。

A Green and Durable Landscape

绿色且富有韧性的景观

The external landscape unfolds as a sweeping green plane, connecting a central sunken event plaza with cascading stairs and lush roof gardens atop the retail structures. These spaces are carefully crafted to remain visually appealing and functional throughout the year, featuring low-maintenance, evergreen planting and native species tailored to thrive in Changchun’s challenging environment.

商业前广场景观呈现出一片广阔且交织的绿色地带，功能层次丰富。通过一系列层叠的台阶消化场地本身的高差，结合着绿植过渡到中央下沉式活动广场，其中镶嵌着错落有致的露台。这些空间经过精心打造，确保全天候都能保持视觉吸引力以及满足场地不同阶段的多功能需求。同时在软景方面，采用了低维护、常绿植被和适应长春具有季节挑战性环境下生长的本土植物品种。

Extensive tree planting provides essential shade in summer, while urban park spaces contribute to the city as a destination park. These solutions ensure that the landscape not only serves its users but also supports environmental durable low maintenance.

疏密有度的乔木种植为夏季提供了必要的遮阴，而城市公园空间则作为长春重要商区的一个目的地公园，为市民服务。我们提出的设计解决方案确保了景观不仅服务场地的使用者，同时还打造了一个可持续更耐久的低维护环境空间。

Designing for Community Interaction

为社区互动的设计

At the heart of the project lies a commitment to fostering community connection. The sunken plaza, protected from extreme weather conditions, features gathering spaces, long social benches, and a multifunctional event area, making it an ideal venue for exhibitions and large-scale community gatherings. Surrounding urban parkland provides further opportunities for locals to relax, linger, and connect.

项目的中心地带有一个核心功能，就是需要通过很好的利用空间场地来形成一个具有吸引的内聚力，从而加强社区的链接感。下沉式聚集空间和长型社交长椅为人们躲避坏天气提供庇护。此外，还融入了城市公园，包括多功能的公共空间和茂密的绿植区，让人们能够聚集、停留聚会、参加大型商业活动或展览。城市公园也为当地居民提供了更多放松、遛弯和交流的机会。

The design prioritizes inclusivity and accessibility, creating a 24-hour open space that offers a green escape from the urban bustle and enriches the lives of residents and visitors alike.

景观设计充分考虑了场域空间的优先序列，兼顾包容性和可达性，旨在打造一个全天候开放的公共空间，进入场地的时候能感受到都市绿洲的松弛和温度，会在不经意间体验到身处闹市却犹如绿洲微度假的氛围感，同时也丰富了当地居民和游客的生活场景体验。

Integrated Layers and Dynamic Spaces

交织层次与动态空间

The design seeks to optimize every opportunity to bring greater value and experience to users. Sunken voids are opened up to create a tiered cascade of seating and connections. Combined with the manipulation of elevations, cantilevered decks and balconies connect multiple levels of the site, offering a diversity of layered views and fostering a sense of unity across the development. These design elements enhance the vibrancy of the space, bridging commercial and social functions in a cohesive urban tapestry.

景观设计力求充分利用每一个机会，为使用者带来更大的价值和体验。在尊重原有的结构下，中央下沉广场通过调整开口形式，创造出多层次错落平台机会，带来了可停留休憩的座椅功能和丰富动线。高差处理上，露台悬挑在下沉式活动空间上，创造出视觉趣味，并在各层之间建立联系，整体形象上更显大气统一。景观元素激活了空间的活力，完美的兼容了商业和社交需求，人流如织的公共空间宛如一幅生动的都市画像。

Navigating a Complex Site

复杂场地应对之策

The project’s location atop a major train station introduced unique challenges. Spanning multiple podium structures, the site required integrating and mitigating numerous large-scale existing and new ventilation shafts, exhausts, staircases, and other infrastructure. Through precise coordination and innovative design solutions, the landscape and infrastructure merge harmoniously, ensuring these functional elements are both effective and visually discreet, while adding to the spatial arrangement to create gateways from one space to another.

项目作为地铁上盖的大体量商业综合体，场地条件较为复杂，空间处理极富挑战性。场地横跨大片裙楼结构，需要将众多现有的和新建的大型通风井、排气口、人防楼梯和其他基础设施进行整合与视觉弱化。通过精确的协调和准确的设计解决方案，景观元素与基础设施实现了和谐融合，确保了这些功能设备的基础运行又视觉上隐蔽，局部巧妙的种植规划还能带来曲径通幽的效果。
