Amouage, the Omani House of High Perfumery, expands its global presence with its first Asian flagship in Zhang Yuan, Shanghai’s 140-year-old historic district known for luxury showcases.

A Journey Inspired by Simbad the Sailor

This boutique invites visitors under the sea, showcasing Oman’s tales through Simbad the sailor. At the entrance, 2-meter corals set the scene. Inside, the ceiling features a dhow’s hull guiding visitors through treasures, complemented by coral-inspired tables, sandbank-like terrazzo floors, and wave-like projections on the glass façades.

Innovative Fragrance Discovery

Fragrances are displayed like treasures, with coral trees and animated merchandising mimicking waves. Collections are grouped as schools of fish, offering a dreamlike introduction to Amouage for the Chinese market.

A Versatile Experience

Designed for adaptability, the boutique accommodates large groups, personalized rituals, hand massages, and masterclasses. A multifunctional central “Master Piece” transitions from display to event space, creating a seamless blend of storytelling and luxury.
