Nestled in a serene countryside setting, "Framed by Nature" reimagines modern family living with a focus on spaciousness, natural materials, and seamless transitions between interior and exterior environments. The design concept balances warmth and modernity, offering an inviting sanctuary where daily life unfolds in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

MOOD & CONCEPT

The project embraces minimalism with tactile warmth, where airy volumes and abundant light create a canvas for shifting shadows, reflections, and art. Natural light animates the expansive surfaces, shaping a dynamic, ever-changing atmosphere. Open spaces maintain visual clarity, allowing materials and textures—soft greys, warm woods, and delicate greens—to echo the surrounding landscape while fostering serenity and timelessness.

Materials such as copper, wide-format ceramics precisely cut to custom drawings, and textured wood carry through the entire project, adding continuity and subtle richness to the serene, airy spaces.

The layout prioritizes openness, with expansive double-height spaces that create visual continuity and invite light to flow freely. Large panoramic windows frame views of the garden, while thoughtfully positioned partitions maintain intimacy without sacrificing openness. Circulation through the home is intuitive, enhancing the feeling of calm and spaciousness.

The spatial composition revolves around openness and verticality, with the living room serving as the home's core. At its heart, the Bocci chandelier becomes a central sculptural element and the emotional centerpiece of the interior. Floating gracefully within the double-height space, its delicate glass spheres, suspended at varying heights, mimic a constellation, casting soft, dynamic light patterns across the walls and floor. By day, it interacts with the abundant natural light, creating subtle reflections and highlights; by night, it transforms into a glowing installation, anchoring the space while adding warmth and a sense of intimacy. More than just lighting, the chandelier functions as the home's heart—a meeting point of form, function, and art.

ART & WALL SPACES

An integral part of the design was creating expansive, clean wall surfaces that serve as a versatile backdrop for art. The client, an avid art enthusiast who frequently hosts themed gatherings and rotates the displayed collection, required a space that could effortlessly adapt to various artworks—ranging from large-scale paintings to photography and graphic works. These generous, empty walls not only emphasize the home's volumes and openness but also transform into dynamic exhibition zones, allowing art and architecture to engage in an ever-evolving dialogue.

The staircase, a sculptural element in itself, combines concrete steps with sleek glass balustrades, allowing light to cascade through the vertical circulation space. Minimalist artwork and clean-lined furniture punctuate the hallways, reinforcing the home's quiet elegance.

Bedrooms & Private Spaces

The private quarters embody tranquility, with a muted color palette and soft lighting. The master bedroom’s feature wall, with its flowing stone-inspired texture, complements the layered textiles and plush upholstery. Large windows ensure a constant dialogue with the greenery outside, enhancing the sense of retreat.

Bathrooms & Utility Areas

Bathrooms are designed as calm sanctuaries, highlighted by freestanding tubs, matte fixtures, and refined stone countertops. The use of deep green tones creates a cocooning effect, while generous windows maintain the home's connection to nature.

FINAL LOOK & FEEL

"Framed by Nature" is more than just a home—it’s a living, breathing environment where architecture and landscape intertwine. Every detail, from material choices to spatial flow, is crafted to foster serenity, connection, and timeless comfort.
