Vidéo Mapping Florence

En 2024, j'ai eu l'opportunité de réaliser un vidéo mapping monumental sur un bâtiment emblématique de Florence, en Italie. En tant que Directeur Artistique de ce projet, j'ai coordonné chaque étape de la création, depuis l'idée initiale jusqu'à la réalisation finale.

Pour donner vie à ce spectacle, j'ai utilisé Unreal Engine et Cinema 4D pour concevoir des éléments 3D immersifs, tandis que la composition finale a été réalisée sous After Effects. J'ai également pris en charge la modélisation 3D complète du bâtiment, ce qui a permis à l'équipe technique de réaliser un calage précis de la vidéo sur la structure physique.

Mon travail a englobé :

Création du scénario et des mood boards pour définir la direction artistique,

Recherches artistiques approfondies pour harmoniser le contenu visuel avec l'architecture et l'histoire du lieu,

Préparation des fichiers techniques nécessaires pour la projection, assurant une intégration parfaite sur site.

Ce projet allie innovation technologique, créativité artistique et une profonde sensibilité à l'héritage culturel de Florence. Une expérience unique où la lumière, l'image et l'architecture se sont fusionnées pour émerveiller le public.

In 2024, I had the opportunity to create a monumental video mapping show on a historic building in Florence, Italy. As the Artistic Director of this project, I oversaw every stage of production, from the initial concept to the final presentation.

To bring this spectacle to life, I utilized Unreal Engine and Cinema 4D to design immersive 3D elements, with the final composition crafted in After Effects. I also handled the 3D modeling of the building, which enabled the technical team to achieve a precise projection alignment onto the physical structure.

My responsibilities included:

Developing the narrative and mood boards to establish the artistic direction,

Conducting in-depth artistic research to align the visual content with the architecture and history of the site,

Preparing technical files essential for projection mapping, ensuring seamless integration on location.

This project is a blend of technological innovation, artistic creativity, and a deep appreciation for Florence’s cultural heritage. A unique experience where light, imagery, and architecture merged to captivate the audience.
