位于纽约市的著名建筑与设计工作室Rockwell Group近日揭晓了其最新项目——曼谷Nobu餐厅的室内设计。这一项目标志着该工作室与厨师松久信幸的长期合作达到了新的里程碑。两者的合作始于1994年，当时他们在曼哈顿Tribeca社区开设了一家小型餐厅。30年后的今天，曼谷Nobu餐厅不仅是品牌首次进军泰国，也是全球最大的Nobu餐厅。

Rockwell Group, the acclaimed architecture and design studio based in New York City, has unveiled its latest project: the interiors for Nobu Bangkok. This project marks a new milestone in the studio’s decades-long collaboration with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, which began in 1994 with a modest restaurant in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighbourhood. Now, 30 years and 40 Nobu restaurants and hotels later, Nobu Bangkok is the brand’s first foray into Thailand and its largest restaurant globally.

Located within the iconic Empire Tower in Sathon, one of Thailand’s tallest office buildings, Nobu Bangkok spans two floors, an expansive rooftop, and multiple dynamic spaces designed for dining, socialising, and hosting large events. Guests can enjoy breathtaking rooftop views alongside an exclusive food and beverage programme that celebrates Nobu’s signature offerings and unique elements of Thai culture. Highlights include a private tearoom and versatile event spaces.

Rockwell Group从曼谷的自然景观与城市风貌中汲取灵感，结合泰国复古地图中的三个主题——城市、丛林与河流，来塑造每个空间的设计与氛围。城市主题贯穿主餐厅和酒吧，采用阶梯式屋顶、泥土色调和奢华材质，如银色石灰岩、青铜、木条及传统泰国织物，营造温暖而精致的氛围。丛林主题则影响了休息室和屋顶酒吧的设计，灵感来源于当地山脉与稻田的有机形态，色调为深蓝和棕色，搭配反光表面、翡翠绿大理石、纹理石材及花卉图案。河流主题定义了户外露台，采用白橡木、天然纤维、绿色植物及温暖的夕阳色调，营造放松的氛围，邀请客人欣赏城市景观。

Rockwell Group drew inspiration from Bangkok’s natural and urban landscapes, incorporating themes found in a vintage map of Thailand — Urban, Jungle, and River — to shape the design and ambience of each space. The Urban concept informs the main dining room and bar, featuring tiered roofs, earthy hues, and luxurious materials such as silver travertine, bronze, wood slats, and traditional Thai textiles, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere. The Jungle theme inspires the lounge and rooftop bar, drawing on the organic forms of local mountains and rice terraces with a darker palette of deep blues and browns, reflective finishes, emerald-green marble, textured stones, and floral motifs. Meanwhile, the River motif defines the outdoor terraces, which evoke casual luxury through white oak, natural fibres, greenery, and warm sunset tones, inviting guests to unwind and enjoy the cityscape.

餐厅入口位于58层，顾客首先会看到由高光漆面雕刻木材制成的定制接待台。紧邻的休息室内，城市美景尽收眼底，弯曲的长椅由起伏的金属框架构成，搭配泰国风格的花卉刺绣。天蓝色皮革座椅与阶梯式天花板相得益彰，天花板上覆有烟熏色复古镜面，反射并扩展了全景天空的视野，这一阶梯式设计呼应了传统泰国寺庙的建筑风格。

On entering the restaurant – on the 58 floor of the tower – guests are greeted by a custom host stand made of high-gloss lacquered carved wood. The adjacent lounge features dramatic city views, curved banquettes framed by undulating metal, and Thai-inspired floral embroidery. Sky-blue leather seating complements the stepped ceiling, which is clad in smoky, antiqued mirrors to reflect and expand the panoramic sky. This stepping motif echoes the architecture of traditional Thai temples.

接待台后，顾客进入主餐厅，体现了曼谷复杂的阶梯式建筑和精美的织物。餐厅内设有一个特别的装置艺术，描绘了金色水墨涟漪的图案，灵感来源于纽约Nobu Downtown的标志性装置，并加入了泰国文化元素，漂浮在镜面天花板下方。与Nobu餐厅的一贯设计风格相符，寿司吧台是餐厅的中心焦点，上方悬挂着一块发光的玛瑙面板。木质格栅条从墙面延伸到天花板，展现了日本木工技艺，搭配简约的石材地板。左侧的台阶带领客人进入一片嵌入拱形壁龛的长椅区，这些长椅参考了泰国古董沙发，低矮且带有如日床般的坐垫。餐厅内还使用了Jim Thompson品牌的面料，展现了与曼谷丝绸产业的深厚联系。

Beyond the host stand, guests enter the main dining room, celebrating Bangkok’s intricate tiered architecture and exquisite textiles. A site-specific installation depicts a gold swirl of watery sumi-e ink, referencing the iconic installation at Nobu Downtown in New York, but with a Thai influence that floats below a mirrored ceiling. As is customary at Nobu, a sushi bar is the central focal point of the dining room, symbolised by a glowing onyx panel above. Gridded wood planks migrate up the walls and onto the ceiling, celebrating Japanese joinery, paired with simple stone-tiled floors. To the left, a step up brings guests to a series of banquettes set into arched niches. The banquettes reference antique Thai sofas, with their low profile and daybed-like cushions. Rockwell Group employed Jim Thompson fabrics in the dining room, a brand with ties to Bangkok and its silk industry.

户外露台延伸了餐厅空间，提供了一个不受阻碍、可以尽情欣赏曼谷天际线的阶梯式座位。中央酒吧采用雕刻艺术造型，低矮的酒架设计避免了遮挡视野，而内嵌的灯笼灯具则为空间增添了温暖与氛围。

The outdoor terrace extends the dining room and offers cascading seating with unobstructed views of the Bangkok skyline. The central bar features a carved, sculptural bar die and a low liquor shelf to avoid obstructing the view, and lantern light fixtures integrated into the banquettes create warmth and added ambience.

位于61层的圆形Sky Bar提供360度曼谷全景，周围环绕着有机形态的无边泳池和发光的灯笼。酒吧上方的金色马赛克拱门突出了天际线。弯曲的长椅与休息室设计呼应，配有内嵌灯光和简洁低调的金属框架。

The circular Sky Bar on level 61 boasts a 360-degree view of Bangkok, framed by organic infinity pools and glowing lanterns. A feature baris topped with a gold mosaic arch that draws attention to the skyline. Curved banquettes echo the lounge’s design and feature integrated lighting and a sleek, low- profile metal frame.

The 57 floor features a collection of private dining rooms (PDRs) and a versatile event terrace. Drawing inspiration from contemporary Japanese sake rooms and traditional Thai tearooms, the PDRs are characterised by low ceilings, reflective metal grid ceilings, and sparkling crystal light fixtures.

Nobu Bangkok combines Rockwell Group’s visionary design and in-depth knowledge of the Nobu DNA with the essence of Thai culture and Nobu’s signature elegance. With its stunning views, innovative use of materials, and thoughtful integration of local elements, the restaurant is set to become a premier destination for fine dining and events in Southeast Asia.
