In taking inspiration from outdoor markets from different countries around the world, the design pays homage to the various cultures residing in the existing site. Famiglia del Mondo evokes wonder in an inviting atmosphere through the representation of outdoor market design elements including repetitive lighting patterns, industrial millwork strategies, and colorful local art. In abstracting these ideas into a contemporary design, users learn that the Italian Market is a representation of diversity, innovation, and a constant reminder that we are all united as one.
