重庆之丘坐落于重庆市渝北区，是一个以TOD模式开发的未来居住社区的先行区和商业配套区，项目用地紧邻地铁10号线王家庄地铁站，10号线车辆段基地位于场地内西侧，另外远期14号线出入口也会与用地直接相连。该项目旨在构建融合交通与商业功能的综合环境，成为该区域的居民生活中心。整个项目采用渐进式开发模式，前期项目业态包含售楼处、书店、亲子、餐饮、社区服务等功能，远期售楼处等功能退出，转化为经营性商业街区，同步在南侧进行二期商业开发，并增加办公业态。

Chongqing Hill is located in Yubei District, Chongqing. It serves as a future residential community and a commercial supporting area developed in line with the TOD (Transit – Oriented Development) model. The project site is in close proximity to Wangjiazhuang Station of Chongqing Metro Line 10. The vehicle depot of Line 10 is positioned on the western part of the site. Moreover, the station of planned Metro Line 14 in the long – term will be directly linked to the project land. The entire project adopts a phased development approach. In the initial phase, the project will include a sales office, bookstore, family-oriented facilities, dining options, and community services. In the long term, the sales office and other initial functions will be phased out and transformed into a commercial street area. Concurrently, the second phase of commercial development will take place on the southern side, introducing office spaces to the mix.

空间形态：亲近自然的立体花园街区

Spatial form: a three-dimensional garden block close to nature

项目场地除了已建成使用的车辆段基地外，原本都是一片连绵的小山丘，设计之初就希望能保留场地本身特色，让人们可以体验场地原有的自然、丰富的空间记忆。整个住区的总体规划顺应场地条件，塑造了丰富的竖向设计，不同位置的场地出入口、地铁站出入口、住区出入口，都位于不同的标高，最大相差近20米。所以设计结合原有场地的山丘之形，塑造了一个立体的花园街区，从地下到屋顶，将所有交通连接汇聚在一起，用绿色环境和丰富的业态联系所有空间。多样的建筑造型，蜿蜒的立体步行流线，让重庆之丘仿佛自然山丘一样可以游览、探索、发现。

Apart from the already constructed and operational depot base, the project site originally consisted of a series of rolling hills. From the outset, the design aimed to preserve the unique characteristics of the site, allowing people to experience the natural and rich spatial memories of the original landscape. The overall planning of the residential district adapts to the site’s conditions, creating a diverse vertical design. The entrances and exits at different locations, including those for the site, metro station, and residential district, are situated at varying elevations, with a maximum difference of nearly 20 meters. Therefore, the design leverages the hilly terrain of the original site to shape a three-dimensional garden block. From the underground levels to the rooftops, all transportation connections converge, linking all spaces with green environments and a variety of commercial activities. The diverse architectural forms and meandering three-dimensional pedestrian pathways make Chongqing Hill resemble natural hills, waiting to be explored, discovered, and toured.

建筑风貌：活力与文化的交织，传统与现代的对话

Architectural style: an interweaving of vitality and culture, a dialogue between tradition and modernity

在建筑风貌的设计中，设计将传统的建筑意向、现代的建筑语言结合在一起，既体现重庆文化的厚重、又体现重庆时尚的活力，这种对话碰撞的方式，塑造了独特的建筑风貌。每栋建筑的形象都各有特色，同时协调一致，形成了多样性的街区风貌，重庆之丘好像是一件雕琢而成的艺术品，等待着被驻足欣赏，但更是重庆这座城市时代的缩影，充满了韵味。

In the design of the architectural style, traditional architectural concepts are combined with modern architectural languages. This not only reflects the profoundness of Chongqing’s culture but also showcases the vibrant fashion of the city. Through this dialogical and colliding approach, a unique architectural style is created. Each building has its own distinct characteristics while also being in harmony with others, forming a diverse streetscape. Chongqing Hill resembles a finely crafted piece of art, inviting people to pause and appreciate its beauty. Moreover, it serves as a microcosm of the era in Chongqing, brimming with charm and significance.

在地设计：水渠与拱

Local design: water channels and arches

“拱” 的造型运用，是项目中的特点之一。拱券并非空穴来风，而是提取自原场地内，拱桥水渠的在地元素。拱桥水渠在重庆不仅是一种水利工程设施，也承载着丰富的文化意义和历史价值。作为重庆历史文化的一部分，拱桥水渠不仅反映了重庆的地理特征，也体现了重庆人民与自然和谐共生的生活哲学。

The application of the “arch” shape is one of the features of the project. The arch design is not a random creation but is derived from the local elements of the arched – bridge water channels within the original site. In Chongqing, the arched – bridge water channels are not only water conservancy facilities but also carry rich cultural significance and historical value. As part of Chongqing’s historical and cultural heritage, the arched – bridge water channels not only reflect the geographical features of Chongqing but also embody the life philosophy of the people living in harmony with nature.

我们将拱桥水渠的造型进行了演变和转译，既有十字券、连续拱之类的经典拱形式，又有立体雕塑般的创新异形拱形式，利用现代的材料和形体语言，打造新旧交融的建筑形象。无论是古典的韵味还是现代的气息，每一个拱形空间都诠释了经典与时尚的融合，给驻留其中的人们带来一份别样的风采和感受。

We have evolved and translated the form of the arched – bridge water channels. There are classic arch forms such as cross vaults and continuous arches, as well as innovative and irregular arch forms like three – dimensional sculptures. By using modern materials and volumetric languages, we create an architectural image that blends the old with the new. Whether it is the classical charm or the modern flavor, each arched space interprets the integration of classic and fashion, bringing a unique style and experience to those who stay within.

特色立面：水元素的转译

Distinctive facade: the translation of water elements

项目场地西侧是嘉陵江，东侧是猪肠溪，场地内有拱桥水渠，所以设计希望建筑本身就能体现水的元素，书店的外立面因此采用了独特的立面手法，并采用了创新的表皮构造。整个建筑外立面自上而下，采用钢索悬挂方砖的方式，构成了水流的意向。为保证轻量化和耐久性，方砖是由金属材料外做仿陶材质加工而成，通过对方砖的尺寸、密度、色彩进行渐变调节，形成颜色与疏密逐渐变化的外立面形象，宛如水流倾洒而下。这种“水”的意向体现了商业建筑的特色，回应了对场地文脉的表达，同时保证了建筑室内的采光通风。▼立面控制，Facade control©中国建科CPG

The project site is flanked by the Jialing River to the west and the Zhuchang Stream to the east, with arched bridge aqueducts running through the site.Therefore, the design aims to incorporate water elements into the architecture itself. The bookstore’s facade employs a unique design approach and innovative surface construction to achieve this. The entire exterior facade, from top to bottom, uses steel cables to suspend square tiles, creating the impression of flowing water. To ensure lightweight construction and durability, the square tiles are made of metal with a ceramic-like finish. By gradually adjusting the size, density, and color of the tiles, the facade presents a gradient effect in both color and density, resembling a cascade of water.This “water” image not only reflects the characteristics of the commercial building and responds to the expression of the site context but also ensures the lighting and ventilation inside the building.

场景营造：城市驿站的烟火气息

Scene creation: the flavor of daily life in the urban rest stop

重庆之丘不仅是商业的载体，同时承担了住区人群与城市公共交通之间的联系，我们希望可以让整个街区变成城市中的驿站和家门口的小镇，既有烟火气息，又有人文关怀。重庆的街巷空间是城市文化的重要组成部分，承载着丰富的历史记忆和地方特色，设计因此注重街区式的空间组织，营造不同尺度的街巷空间。中心书店创新的建筑形式，成为了提领整个街区空间的“小镇楼阁“，入口处大尺度的下沉广场和立体花园，提供了体验整组建筑群的视野和空间，同时提供了让人们交往的场所，在喧闹的城市生活中走近彼此，产生情感共鸣。我们希望重庆之丘可以体现重庆的山城特色和烟火气息，让整个街区变成周边居民茶余饭后休闲、社交的热门首选地。

Chongqing Hill is not only a commercial hub but also a vital link between the residential community and urban public transportation. We aim to transform the entire block into an urban oasis and a hometown square, blending the vibrancy of daily life with a touch of humanistic care. The alleyways and streets of Chongqing are an integral part of the city’s culture, rich with historical memories and local characteristics. Therefore, the design emphasizes a neighborhood-style spatial organization, creating street and alley spaces of varying scales. The innovative architectural form of the central bookstore serves as the “town pavilion” that anchors the entire block. The large-scale sunken plaza and three-dimensional garden at the entrance provide a vantage point to experience the architectural ensemble and offer spaces for social interaction. These areas encourage people to connect and resonate emotionally amidst the hustle and bustle of city life. We hope that Chongqing Hill embodies the unique mountainous charm and lively atmosphere of Chongqing, making the entire block a popular destination for nearby residents to relax and socialize after meals.
