1. Project Overview

Kaffeine is a restaurant & café designed to blend industrial and modern aesthetics while maintaining a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The client wanted a space that felt youthful and casual, yet refined and luxurious. By combining a monochrome palette with bold accents, sculpted metal partitions, and rich textural contrasts, the design achieves a balanced and immersive experience.

This 194 sqm space was meticulously crafted with a strong focus on detail, from the sculptural wall elements to the carefully planned bar and seating areas. The interplay between natural light, industrial materials, and artistic decor creates an environment that is both inviting and visually striking.

2. Concept & Design

Kaffeine is a fusion of industrial and modern styles, blending casual, youthful energy with a touch of formality and luxury. The space is defined by a monochrome palette of whites, blacks, and mid-greys, balanced with bold crimson accents for contrast.​​​​​​​

🛠️ Material Palette:- Walls: White plaster, segmented by black-painted metal square-section tubes- Bar Counter: White Corian for a sleek, modern look- Partitions & Sculptural Elements: Metal sheets, handcrafted for distinct seating areas- Decor: Gigantic plaster tribal masks integrated into wall panels

3. Layout & Spatial Organization

L-Shaped Bay Windows: Two sides feature expansive glass openings, flooding the space with natural light.Bar Placement: Centrally positioned between the kitchen entrance and bathroom access, ensuring smooth operational flow.Seating Arrangement: Designed for both privacy and openness, with sculpted metal partitions subtly dividing sections.

The bar area, in particular, was meticulously designed, incorporating unique industrial-modern elements that add richness and complexity to the space. Each material and shape was chosen carefully to maintain the balance between raw industrial aesthetics and sleek modernism.

The final design of Kaffeine successfully merges industrial and modern aesthetics, achieving a space that feels both inviting and sophisticated. The strategic use of textured materials, sculptural partitions, and a refined color palette created a visually rich and immersive experience.
