Exhibition Pavilion Design 2017/18 for Vaillant Corporationproject owners :  Niki Boukouvala // Elpisia Spathari

This is a project for the Detailed Product Design class, of the Department of Product and System Design Engineering where we were assigned the design of VAILLANT's exhibition pavilion. While maintaining the company's values and identity, we were inspired by the current architectural trends and opted for the design of a live, interactive space which calls for the visitors to explore it.

Final Concept_

In our final concept, we focused into succeeding uniformity through the repetition of a simple organic form in various different sizes and materials. The main characteristic of this concept is that of perspective which is achieved through the design of the auditorium as well as the stairs leading to the silent room. The pavillion's floor is again used to guide the public flows into exploring the exhibition space. 

Restrictions :1_ Total size of exhibition space 500-1000 s.m.2_ Isle type pavilion (no other pavilion touches it, surrounded by corridors through four sides) 3_ Silent Area ~100 s.m elevated in 3,5 m. height through stairs 4_ Transportable, reassembled, stable structure 5_ Preference in materials such as wood, plastic, metals, glass6_ Use of light panels and assembly through a frame for support7_ Use of prefabricated components (crosspieces, beams, columns, aluminum frames)
