     Con Dao is one of the most glamorous tourism destination in Vietnam because of not only the exceptional geography but also the historical traditions. With the location of an offshore island, Con Dao can preserve the natural ecosystem, which can reflect profoundly the characteristics of tropical environment, namely aquamarine ocean, immense green forest, special mountainous surfaces from volcanic eruptions... Besides that, this destination is extraordinarily prosperous in historical values. A lot of heroes, who lived, devoted and sacrificed for the independence of nation, were incarcerated in the appalling prison on this island. Their heroic stories have been bringing inspiration and magnanimity into the poetry, culture and the admiration of citizens.     With the aforementioned unique contexts, the Project aims to inherit the long-honor values and express them in the modern but affable languages. Beside the design of each of the building, several stories about the local cultures of fishing villages, the respectful esteem for previous generations, the colors of surrounding nature, are conveyed...

Overall Master plan

Iconic 5-star hotel: In the shape of the flame, this building can symbolize for the indomitable spirit of heroes who lived and struggled for the liberty of the nation. In another perspective, the form of the hotel also evoke the association with the pure water drop, that engages with the transparency and freedom. By combining several contrasting meanings, the design could reflect fluctuated developments of this gutsy island though the history.

Beach clubs: The architecture is inspired by the natural image of shells on the beach

Villas area: Lean on the mountain and blend with the nature, these villas are constructed in the suitable areas, that have minimum affects to the landscape, and utilize the local materials to resonate with ecosystem. The design of villas can reflect the simple, strong,rustic atmospheres.

Low-rise hotel: With the inspiration of infinitive shape, this building demonstrate the sustainable resonance between ecology and economy. The smooth curves help the construction blend softly with the waves and landscape. Moreover the shape of this hotel also conjure up vision of the traditional pattern of local ethnic communities in the past. The dragon in the northeast direction is the symbol of peace, health and wealth.
