1928 — by decision of the State Electrotechnical Trust (GET), adopted at the end of 1925 in order to ensure the fulfillment of the GOELRO plan, the Moscow Electric Plant was created. On November 4, 1928, the official launch of the plant took place with the participation of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Economy V. V. Kuibyshev and S. M. Budyonny [1].1939 — by decision of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR, the Moscow Electric Plant was transformed into the Moscow Electric Lamp Plant (MELZ). The Moscow Transformer Plant and the Plant of Automotive and Tractor Electrical Equipment (ATE-1) were separated into separate enterprises (on the territory of the plant).1967 — Powerful shunt reactors for 400 and 500 kV for long-distance power transmission lines of the power system are developed and manufactured; transformers for arc steel-smelting furnaces; complete transformer substations. 1975 — Transformer and reactor equipment for the first 800 kV Volgograd-Donbass DC power transmission line, and then for 1500 kV power transmission lines, is created.
Logo of JSC "ERSO Holding"1993 — Open Joint-Stock Company Holding Company "ELEKTROZAVOD" is organized on the basis of the Moscow NPO "Elektrozavod".2002 — Development of new types of transformer equipment with increased reliability, creation of the Engineering Center.2008 — The most powerful transformer — 630 MVA — previously produced in Russia — TC-630000/330 was manufactured for the Kursk NPP.2009 — The Ufa Transformer Plant, which became part of JSC "Elektrozavod", was built and put into operation. The ceremonial launch was carried out by Vladimir Putin.2020 — The international electrical engineering holding ERSO Energy Solutions (JSC ERSO Holding) was established. The Electrozavod and the Ufa Transformer Plant became the holding's production sites.
