Burg堡作为一家特立独行的融合菜系Bistro，Burg堡从店名到空间，都充斥着这种精神。城头巷——杭州古巷深处，历史的沉淀就像杭州方言“杭白儿“一样刻在底子里，是独属于杭州的城市记忆。不断出现的新兴城市业态店铺：咖啡店、手作工作室等也为这片街区注入了新的活力，使其成为城市多样性的缩影。burg堡选址于巷子之中，成为多样性拼图中的一片：年轻、开放、不拘一格。

As an avant-garde bistro embracing fusion cuisine, Burg embodies it’s distinctive spirit in both name, and architectural design. Chengtou Lane: Nestled deep within Hangzhou’s historic alleys, this Chengtou carries the weight of time, much like the area’s local dialect“Hangbai’er”, which is a cultural memory: a tribute of uniqueness to the city. The emergence of contemporary urban establishments—cafés, artisan studios, and more—has added new vitality into the area, making it a microcosm of the city’s evolving diversity. Burg is located in this vibrant fabric of locality, adding a piece to the urban diversity; youthful, open, and carrying it’s own style.

建筑重塑

Architectural Transformation Mission

项目前身为一家传统中式快餐店，拥有完全封闭的中式后厨，室内缺少自然采光，也无法通风。下沉空间阴暗逼仄，存在较多的空间死角。并且由于建筑本身年久失修，还面临漏雨、立面破坏。如何保留场地特征、梳理空间关系、优化整体的空间体验，是我们需要帮助Burg堡解决的问题。

Previously, the site was a Chinese fast-food restaurant bearing a fully enclosed kitchen with little to no access to natural light or ventilation. The sunken dining area was darkand constrained, burdened with a use of space fit for it’s former purpose. The years of neglect evident were not only visual but poor maintenancehad led to structural damagecaused by water damage. Our challenge was to preserve the site’s inherent characteristics while redefining it’s spatial relationships utilizingthem to enhance the overall modern user’s experience.

为了提升餐厅的整体氛围和日常采光，我们在原有的顶面基础上增加了两个圆形金属天窗，并在天窗内部嵌入了氛围灯，兼顾白天的采光需求和夜晚的氛围营造。

We have successfully improved lighting and atmosphere by augmenting the original roof structure with two circular metal skylights. The resulting integrated linearlight within these ensures natural illumination during the day and atmospheric enhancement at night.

结合bistro餐厅的运营模式，我们在部分造型中加入了霓虹灯和彩色灯带作为辅助光源，不仅增强了夜晚酒吧的整体氛围，还强化了空间感。夜幕降临，当混合着工业复古的灯光从内部照亮整体餐厅时，建筑散发出有别于街巷立面的独特气息：自由、有力、鲜活。

Taking consideration of the operational model of a bistro, we incorporated neon lights and coloured LED strips into design elements. Not only have we amplified the bar’s night atmosphere but, there is an simultaneous reinforcement in the sense of space and vibrancy of the whole interior. In the night time, the industrial and vintage lighting emits from the interior of restaurant，having a distinct characteristic that contrasts with the conventional streets’ facade—unrestrained, dynamic, and inviting.

设计更进一步地暗示了空间与街道社区的融合。在改造过程中，我们有意识地修缮了建筑结构，并保留了建筑的“旧”质感，使新空间更自然地融入社区。同时半开放的门头、结合内退空间为等位食客及路过旅人提供休憩空间，空间延续着整条街的松弛感。

To emphasize the integration of the new space with its urban surroundings. During the renovation, we retained the building’s original texture but reinforced structural stability, this allowing the new space naturally integrate into the existing neighborhood with confidence. A semi-open storefront and recessed entrance create a rest area, offering waiting guests and passers-by a place to stop and rest. Burg maintains a relaxed rhythm within the vibrant Chengtou lane.

自由转换

Flexible transformation

主理人希望室内空间功能随时转变，因此设计的灵活性显得尤为重要。移动的长桌、定制调节高度的餐桌，可转动的餐边柜，可调节挂衣杆等，让空间能够根据运营需求快速调整布局，随时随地变为DJ live现场。在空间展示系统的设计上我们将木板以相对灵活的方式组合搭建，以配合不同尺寸商品的展示需求。

There is a strong request for a multifunctional interior within the owners specification. We have delivered on this important feature with flexibility in design. A movable long dining table accompanied with height-adjustable dining tables, movable sideboards, and adaptable hanging racks allow the space to be reconfigured according to the business and environmental need even fulfilling for a music venue with the ability to The space can effortlessly transformed love music venue with stage to accompany a DJ when required. In display system, wooden panels are assembled in a modular and adaptable ways, accommodating a variety of product sizes.

餐食氛围

Dining Atmosphere

如何思考餐食空间中食客、食材、食室三者之间的关系？设计挣脱了具体的风格范式，建筑原始的粗犷结构和肌理得到了很大程度上的保留，将几何形体赋予金属构件，不锈钢的运用则增加了空间的精致度，让食客沉静在工业感叠加复古摩登的奇妙氛围当中。木材和石材组合形成的长桌，烘托和展示着有质感的食器和美食。

How to define the relationship between diners, ingredients, and the dining space? The new design incorporates specific design paradigms, preserving much of the building’s raw structures and textures. Geometric forms are embedded within metal elements, whilst stainless steel introduces a refined contrast. The guests are immersed in an atmosphere of industrial aesthetics and vintage modernity. A long dining tables, combined of wood and stone, serve as both a stage and a backdrop—elevating the tactile beauty of the client’s dishes and food utensils.

一个生长于街区的建筑空间；一场激发年轻食客感官的视觉冲击；一次肆意轻松的用餐体验，空间和菜肴一起完成了食客对于burg堡的美味探索。

An architectural space rooted in the desirable neighborhood; that strikes a visual impact among young diners; attracting them to a relaxing dining atmosphere. The visual aesthetics and cuisine guiding guests on a flavorful journey of Burg.
