MAN YUE is a restaurant project that combines architecture, interior and emotion into a single visual and cultural fabric. Inspired by the Hong Kong of the 80s and 90s, the aesthetics of Hong Kong cinema, neon noir and traditional Chinese symbols, the restaurant's design becomes not just a background but the main tool to immerse the guest in the atmosphere.
Oriental graphics, velvety textures and warm woods combine in the interior of the hall room.
The bar is decorated in the spirit of red luxury and Chinese Art Deco. The space is ideal for both evening cocktail rituals and private gatherings in a speakeasy aesthetic with an Asian soul.
The walls have a gold-plated wavy texture, referencing the symbolism of water and good luck in Chinese culture, and the coffee table lamps are shaped like decorative catfish, adding to the oriental feel.
The bathroom is decorated like a garden scene in Chinese painting. Pastel yellow panels with paintings of birds, branches and flowers create the feeling of a secluded corner of nature in an urban space.
