PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Novacolor Showroom was envisioned as a contemporary and immersive space that showcases Novacolor’s premium Italian decorative finishes. The goal was to design a space that not only reflects the elegance of the product line but also functions as a gallery-like experience for architects, designers, and clients.

DESIGN CONCEPT

The core concept revolved around the material itself as an exhibit — with walls becoming storytelling canvases. The interior layout guides visitors through an experiential journey, using light, texture, and material palettes to highlight different surface finishes. The minimalist yet dramatic ambiance ensures focus on Novacolor products while complementing the brand’s refined identity.

KEY FEATURES

Zoning & Flow: Seamless circulation was planned through a series of product-specific zones:

Feature wall displays

Texture sample wall units

Consultation area

Ambient-lit ceiling mockups

Material Palette: Polished micro-cement, metallic finishes, earth-toned textures, matte paints

Lighting: Warm, directional lighting to enhance surface finishes and guide movement

Furniture: Custom-designed modular units and minimalist seating to keep focus on walls

CONTRIBUTIONS

Assisted in conceptual zoning and spatial planning

Produced detailed working drawings and interior elevations

Created 3D visualizations and walkthroughs using SketchUp + V-Ray

Collaborated closely with senior architects for material selection and design refinements
