Playa del Paraíso – Bar & Restaurant | Dubai

Playa del Paraíso is a premium bar and restaurant concept located along the serene coastline of Dubai. The project embodies a harmonious blend of contemporary sophistication and natural serenity, creating a destination where atmosphere becomes an essential part of the dining experience.

​​​​​​​As the lead designer, I was responsible for the full creative direction — from initial concept development and spatial planning to material selection, detailing, and final visualization.

Concept & Design Approach

The design concept is rooted in the idea of relaxed luxury. Drawing inspiration from Mediterranean beach culture and organic architecture, the space was envisioned as a sanctuary that feels effortlessly elegant yet deeply grounded in nature.

The spatial organization encourages fluid movement and a natural transition between experiences — from cozy alcoves to communal areas — all while maintaining visual continuity and brand character.

Materials, Color Palette & Style

A refined earthy palette was curated to echo the surrounding coastal environment. Soft beige stone finishes, sun-faded mauves, olive green accents, and warm wood textures form the material foundation of the space.

Textural contrast plays a vital role — plush velvet seating, tactile natural fabrics, and handcrafted accessories are juxtaposed with smooth architectural surfaces. Dried botanical installations and live greenery subtly reinforce the connection to nature.

- Built-in alcoves and architectural niches for intimacy and rhythm.

- Interior landscaping with natural palms, cacti, and dried floral arrangements.

- Multi-functional zoning: from private nooks to open lounge areas.

Playa del Paraíso is more than a visual experience — it’s an immersive journey of material, light, and mood. Positioned on Dubai’s coastline, the space invites guests to disconnect, connect, and indulge in a setting where design is as memorable as the menu.
