屋顶聚落,我们的目光:艺术,人类学与亚洲映像空间展陈设计丨中国广州丨氹边建筑工作室

在人类的居住历史中，建筑形式往往随气候而演变。相较于气候寒冷干燥的地区重视厚实的墙体；气候高温多雨的亚洲则更在意屋顶在空间中的意义。倾斜的屋顶不仅能够防雨遮阳，更在无形中界定和组织着人们的生活空间。

In the history of human habitation, architectural forms have often evolved with climate. Compared to regions with cold and dry climates, emphasis is placed on thick walls; Asia, with its hot and rainy climate, is more concerned about the significance of roofs in space. A sloping roof not only provides rain and shade, but also invisibly defines and organizes people’s living space.

本次展览借用传统坡屋顶的建筑语汇，将其转化为空间展陈的语言。倾斜的屋顶可以优化挑高展厅中的自然光，为影像作品提供合适的展示条件；更通过布局的角度扭转和屋顶的形态变化，意图再现尺度多样、流动多变的亚洲现场。空间设计试图让艺术家与人类学家的田野工作在此中交汇，组成影像的“聚落”，引发观众进行跨文化、跨领域的观看、理解与对话。

This exhibition borrows the architectural vocabulary of traditional sloping roofs and transforms it into the language of spatial exhibition. The sloping roof can optimize the natural light in the elevated exhibition hall, providing suitable display conditions for visual works; By twisting the layout angles and changing the shape of the roof, the intention is to recreate the diverse and fluid Asian scene. Space design attempts to allow the fieldwork of artists and anthropologists to intersect here, forming a “settlement” of imagery that triggers audiences to engage in cross-cultural and cross disciplinary viewing, understanding, and dialogue.

在建造方面，展览采用了工业化构件作为结构主体，屋顶使用轻质的松木方和农用遮阳网，实现了展览搭建的轻量化、预制化。并且，其中主要构件可拆卸重复使用，整个坡顶的结构后续亦可转为户外展亭继续使用。

In terms of construction, the exhibition adopts industrialized components as the main structural body, and the roof uses lightweight pine wood and agricultural shading nets, achieving lightweight and prefabricated exhibition construction. Moreover, the main components can be disassembled and reused, and the entire structure at the top of the slope can also be converted into an outdoor exhibition pavilion for continued use.
