成都市天府种业园·国家种业重点实验室位于被广袤的田野围绕的成都天府种业园,周边都是一望无际的农业实验田。园区内已有检测中心、博览馆、孵化中心和农创工坊四栋建筑。本项目作为天府种业园区的最后一个建筑,需要在满足国家重点实验室功能需求的同时,形成天府种业园区的整体空间结构。

National Key Seed Industry Laboratory of Tianfu Seed Industry Park is surrounded by endless agricultural experimental fields. There are four existing buildings in the park: Testing Center, Expo Hall, Incubation Center and Agricultural Innovation Workshop. As the last building of Tianfu Seed Industry Park, this project needs to form an overall spatial structure of the Park, while meeting the functional requirements of national key laboratories.

园区已有的四栋建筑全部为有机自由的形态。国家种业重点实验室的设计充分尊重已有园区现状和空间特征,用自然有机的曲线构建内外空间,突出种业科技与生态的特色主题,与已建建筑形成有机整体,同时融入广袤无垠、充满希望的田野。新建建筑充分考虑园区整体空间秩序,结合已建建筑,进行空间组织:与东面的检测中心呼应,向南侧打开,形成整个园区迎宾性质的南入口;与北面的农业工坊形成首尾相连的趋势,完善园区空间形态;同时在东侧留出入口广场,缝合园区多样有机、相对复杂的空间形态,与已有建筑形成有机的对话关系。
All the four existing buildings in the park are of organic and free forms. The design of the National Key Seed Industry Laboratory respects the existing situation and spatial features of the park, using natural and organic curves to organize internal and external spaces, highlighting the theme of seed technology and ecology, forming an organic whole with the existing buildings, and integrating into the vast fields. The new building fully considers the overall spatial order of the park, combines with the existing buildings, and organizes the space: it responds to the testing center on the east side, opens to the south, forming the south entrance with a welcoming nature for the entire park; it forms a trend of connecting with the agricultural workshop on the north side, improving the spatial form of the park; at the same time, it leaves an entrance square on the east side, sewing up the diverse and relatively complex spatial forms of the park, and forming an organic dialogue relationship with the existing buildings.

同时,国家种业重点实验室与周边田野各个方向构成更大范围开放的空间形态与景观视线关系,使其成为田野中多方向的视觉焦点,完全与生态自然的田野生长在一起,用科技与未来的建筑语汇形成反差和空间的艺术感,在充满希望的土地上书写一个种子的浪漫传奇。
At the same time, the National Key Seed Industry Laboratory and the surrounding fields form a wider of open spatial forms and landscape sightlines in all directions, making it a multi-directional visual focus in the fields, completely growing together with the ecological and natural fields. It uses the architectural language of technology and the future to creates contrast and artistic sense of space, writing a romantic legend of seeds on the land full of hope.

建筑的功能满足西南作物基因资源发掘与利用国家重点实验室的需要,结合作物优异基因资源发掘、作物与有害生物互作、作物环境响应与生理、作物种质创新与品种设计四个研究方向,灵活划分空间。单向曲线的实验空间组织清晰高效,立体丰富的共享空间纯净简洁,为科学家带来健康舒适、绿色宜人的工作环境。报告厅与国重实验室之间的半室外灰空间,同样运用有机弧线的建筑语言,将建筑的板柱进行重塑,使为科学家塑造的交往休憩空间变得灵动活泼,种业特色突出、有趣。在这里,可以链接童话世界与现实世界,将人带入仿佛爱丽丝漫游奇境的小小童话世界中,与种子一起萌芽,成长。建筑形态的打造同样将春天生命的孕育与流动的大地的主题贯穿其中,生态有机地将园林与建筑渗透交融,创造富有种业科技特征的、浪漫有趣的个性化科研建筑。
The function of the building meets the needs of the National Key Laboratory for the Exploration and Utilization of Crop Genetic Resources in Southwest China, combining the four research directions of Crop excellent gene resource exploration, Crop and harmful organism interaction, Crop environmental response and physiology, and Crop germplasm innovation and variety design, and flexibly dividing the space. The unidirectional curve organizes experimental space clearly and efficiently, and the three-dimensional and rich shared space is pure and simple, providing scientists with a healthy, comfortable, green and pleasant working environment. The semi-outdoor space between the lecture hall and the national key laboratory also uses the curvy-organic architectural language to reshape the building’s beams and columns, making the communication and rest space lively and interesting, with prominent seed industry characteristics. Here connects the fairy tale world with the real world, bringing people into a small fairy tale world like Alice in Wonderland, growing and growing together with the seeds. The creation of the building form also runs through the theme of the spring life’s gestation and the flowing earth, organically integrating the garden and the building, creating a personalized scientific research building with the characteristics of seed technology, romantic and interesting.

我们希望天府种业园·国家重点实验室打破科研建筑自身的风格局限,用来自于流动的大地和生命孕育的自然有机的建筑语言,把未来的科技感与童话般的浪漫气息相结合,在为农业科研人员创造健康舒适、绿色宜人的科研环境的同时,打破建筑与园区的界限,塑造有趣的空间体验和自由呼吸、肆意流淌的生命气息,与田野生长在一起,拥抱在一起。
We hope that the National Key Seed Industry Laboratory in the Sichuan Tianfu Seed Industry Park can break the limitations of the style of scientific research buildings, use the natural and organic architectural language from the flowing earth and the gestation of life, combine the future sense of technology with the romantic atmosphere of a fairy tale, and while creating a healthy, comfortable, green and pleasant scientific research environment for agricultural researchers, break the boundaries between the building and the park, shape an interesting spatial experience and a free breathing, flowing life atmosphere, growing and embracing together with the fields.
