Couer de cité
is a thrid prize proposal by

for
City of Meyrin
designed in
2019
. It is located in
Meyrin
Switzerland
in an
urban
setting. Its scale is medium with a surface of 8.750 sqm an estimated budget of 40.000.000 € and a ratio of 4.571 €/sqm. Key materials are
glass
and
metal
.
collaborated as visualizer.
The design makes visible the three elements of the townscape of Meyrin: freestanding building slabs in generous parks and wide streets. The linearly organized, stepped city hall shows and follows the original urban conception of Addor and pay reference to his ideas. The horizontally structured north façade facing the square shows the entrances, the administration and, at the top, a rigidly greened winter garden. The stepped south side is also horizontally structured with a courtyard and open terraces.
