Markups Received from Client

The drawings are usually received as scans or sketches. This example here is of a scanned floor plan that has the markups on it.

Work in Progress

The received drawings are then scaled and traced over with some of the details coming from photos, sketches or google earth imaging. Once the floor plans are ready, colours are added in for contrast and over that, room labels, symbols and exit paths are drawn in.

Final Drawings

Once the floor plan is drawn up, the site plan and legends are added. Usually the 'You Are Here' are oriented North on a sheet of paper and the layout is rotated to always be inline with the person viewing it. These finished layouts can be placed on plain sheets of paper or can have branding applied to them with custom logos, text, instructions and colours.
