The concept of Dzeimi restaurant is fully reflected in its name: holiday in Georgian sounds like “zeimi”. A restaurant-feast, where during dinner waiters periodically add emotions to guests by performing Georgian dance, and in response to a guest's praise to the chef they shout “vaime!” in unison, expressing general joy and delight.
The interior, being a part of the facility's concept, is built around one of the symbols of Georgia, without which no Georgian holiday can be imagined - wine. Inspired by Georgia as such, and Kakheti region with its wine houses in particular, we created the atmosphere of Georgian chateau in the restaurant.
This is recognizable stone masonry, awnings, garlanded tents, pavilion-like pavilions for summer meals, restrooms similar to wine cellars where young wine matures in barrels.
The felt lamps, which are also tree planters, are based on Georgian kvevri motifs. The heart of the project - the art object “Wine Tree” is an author's interpretation of the famous Platanus, the oldest tree in Georgia, and refers to the Rtveli grape harvest festival. The crown is made of classic wine bottles, and to form the trunk the decorators used kiln-fired bottles, which after processing took the necessary flat shape for the project.
The interior is decorated predominantly in gray and terracotta shades, which, along with the papakh lamps, kvevri, and the pattern of traditional supra tablecloths on the tables, refer to recognizable symbols of Georgian identity.
