IDENTITY IN TEMPORARY RENTAL SPACES - A TEMPORARY HOUSING BUILDING
Architectural and Interior Design for a Residence in Palermo, Argentina.
After years of specializing in temporary rental housing in Argentina, the studio took a bold step forward by developing its own building dedicated exclusively to short-term rentals.
This project aims to establish a new design direction for the studio, defining its identity and creating standout developments that differentiate themselves in the market.
Located in Palermo, the building features one- and two-room units, a terrace with a grill, and an on-site café designed to enhance the user experience. Its architectural form maximizes the buildable area, with lush green balconies and sleek metal railings shaping the façade, seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetics.
INTERIOR DESIGN - CONCEPT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
The studio's design approach is deeply influenced by Japanese and Scandinavian architecture, embracing minimalism, functionality, a strong connection with nature, and efficient spatial utilization. The aesthetic is defined by the predominant use of wood and natural materials, creating warm and timeless spaces. Recognizing that temporary rental spaces must adapt to diverse users, preferences, and activities while also reflecting the company’s identity, I developed an interior palette that evokes tranquility and contemplation, reinforcing the presence of wood and natural materials. To ensure cohesion and uniqueness, I designed every aspect of the project—from the furniture in each unit to the common areas and the café, which will serve both private and public users. This comprehensive approach establishes a unified design language, reinforcing the company’s vision and laying the foundation for future developments.
