Looking at the building from the outside, you can take it for anything other than the family cottage. In fact, this house is located in the Japanese Alps, a Buddhist temple with a deep history dating back five centuries in the past. Inside the temple there are lectures spaces, meetings, exhibitions and concerts, where the locals gather. The roof is made of durable concrete, with the expectation of the life of 100-200 years. It is strong enough to bear heavy snow loads, and its shape and design gives greater freedom in the layout of the interior space, which is completely made of light wood.
