江宁织造博物馆位于南京太平南路与长江路交汇口，本次改造的空间位于博物馆一层西侧，未来它将作为南京市博物馆文创商店总店及苏豪丝绸生活馆总店使用。

Jiangning Imperial Silk Manufacturing Museum is located at the intersection of Taiping South Road and Changjiang Road in Nanjing.

This refurbishing project covers the west wing ofthe ground floor of the museum. This space will later serve the purpose of Main Stores of Nanjing Museum Cultural and Creative Industry and Suhao Silk Gallery.

反几建筑试图将该空间作为博物馆的延续，通过木材简单组合，展现织造的本质——重复与叠加，带给游览者及购物者别样的艺术体验。

FANAF intends to transform this space into an extension of the museum. Through the simple assembling of timber framing, FANAF is demonstrating the concept of “superimposition and superposition”, which also happens to be the principle of silk manufacturing. This design provides a unique experience for visitors and customers.

外部售卖空间以黑、白色为主，配以木质展示柜，以不刻意张扬的形式，将艺术性作为江宁织造博物馆的延续。

The design for the retail area outside is timber framing racks in the theme of black and white. Once again, it reinforces the idea of the museum, but in a subtle way.

内核休憩服务空间以木色为主，游览者可以在此放慢节奏，欣赏风景、看书、喝咖啡。

The design for the inner retreat area is based on wood texture. Visitors may embrace a slow-paced, relaxing lifestyle through appreciating the art pieces, reading book and enjoying coffee.

在这样一个300平方的文创商店中，反几建筑打造出富有层次的空间流线。黑、白色的外部售卖空间与全木色的休憩内核相互咬合，镂空的木架使二者空间的关系若即若离，同时又层层叠叠。

In this project, FANAF creates a circuitous space with clear spatial hierarchy. The retail areaoutside and the retreat areainside are interconnected. The timber framingstructure serves the function of separating these two areas, yet creates a visual connection between them. A complicated but logical spatial relationship has therefore been presented.
