TwoConnect was purchased when we married in 2008. The 720 square meter section

was a blank canvas.  With previous gardens as our training ground and a shared love of gardening, we created unique spaces and themes. These didn’t always work the first time but we were always prepared to start again. Changes happened often and still do. You will see the structure of trees layered with green foliage, but flowers bring a spark to a garden so there is always room for them. Vegetables and fruit also have their place. Nature’s quirky features such as epiphytes, tillandsias and the little creatures that live in our garden are also treasured. Visitors will also find a few water features in this garden. We built the structures - the most special is the feature archway that Mark made for our wedding. We love to find the odd quirky feature that adds a surprise to the design. This garden is a result of the connection between two people who discovered each other through the love of gardening and the countryside. It is influenced by our heritage and is a place where we deepen our connection with nature.

We are inspired by visiting other gardens and hope to pay this forward by opening our garden to you.

Mary and Mark both have their roots in the country and this is where their love of gardening came from. Both had their own previous gardens but it was not until they came together that something extraordinary was accomplished. Both are practical and hard-working, with most landscaping and design features in the garden being created by their own hands and all gardening tasks are carried out by them. Both still have their careers, so it is treasured when they can spend time in the garden.

We are a small garden 720m 2, and we allow 1 - 1.5 hours for your visit.

$10 pp for the first 5 people and then $5 pp after that.

We have on-street parking for cars buses and coaches.

Some steps and level changes might make it difficult for wheelchairs.

No dogs thanks.

You can bring your own picnic, but please remove your rubbish.

Yes to children - they would love the frogs, ducks and lizards if they showed themselves.

The homestead's bathroom may be used if needed.

We have various seats around the garden for you to rest and sit on the deck.

Some tillandsia may be for sale. Cuttings of some plants may also be for sale if requested.

We are happy to show our visitors around the garden.
