The Eden Project

Today we go to the south-west England, in the county of Cornwall, visiting The Eden Project. Nobody believed in the possibility of creating a garden paradise on the dead earth: for the first estimate for the construction of the park needed £ 75 million. The park has 33 mechanisms that ensure self-regulation of temperature, humidity and air purity in the biomes. Every day, here comes more and more tourists. Greenhouse combines the two functions along with an indoor park, it is also and exhibit space, which is constantly guided tours and concerts. For several years there is a music festival Eden Sessions, where at various times were Muse, Kaiser Chiefs and The Verve. Garden of Eden this year may beat its own record for the number of visitors.
