AtelierHA的多彩Pigalle公寓

In the artistic heart of Paris‘ 18th arrondissement, just steps from the bustling Pigalle, Atelier HA has transformed a compact 60-square-metre apartment into a study of graphic precision and bold colour choices. The five-month renovation by Atelier HA’s creative duo Hugo Vince and Adèle Nourry showcases how clever design can maximise spatial potential without sacrificing personality.

The design challenge was clear: open up the space while revealing its inherent character. The solution centres around two key interventions that completely reshape the apartment’s flow and visual impact.

The kitchen commands attention with its striking graphic approach. High-gloss lacquered timber fronts in deep burgundy create bold geometric forms, while a custom-tiled worktop by CESI introduces textural depth through stripe pattern in rust, sage, and cream tones. Vintage Benze collection stools from La Kasbah Brussels add a mid-century touch, their steel and lacquered timber construction echoing the kitchen’s material palette.

In the living room, a custom-made mirrored wall by Atelier HA dramatically amplifies the space, capturing natural light and creating infinite perspectives. This clever architectural move doubles the visual impact of the curated vintage pieces, including a sculptural Sandra sofa by Annie Hieronimus and a circular lacquered coffee table from the 1970s sourced through Galerie Vauvart.

The colour story throughout is both confident and cohesive. Farrow & Ball’s Red Picture Gallery 42 paint creates dramatic moments in the entrance, while Nobilis’s Andora curtains in coral tones soften the living areas. Every element, from Caroline Derveaux’s contemporary paintings to the vintage crystal shakers from Galerie Paradis, has been selected with attention to form and function.

This Pigalle apartment proves that small spaces can accommodate big ideas when every detail serves both aesthetic and practical purposes. Bravo!
