宴会酒店在所有酒店类型中是一种极为特别的存在。传统酒店都需要为客人创造安静舒适,拥有宁静美学的居停空间。而在宴会酒店的设计中,建筑师所有的设计巧思,精彩的空间铺陈,只为那一场场宾客满座,觥筹交错的欢聚,直至所有宾客尽兴而归,宴会落幕,而在酒店内发生的一切都会留下难忘的回忆。而这场欢聚中,建筑和空间创造出了宴会的仪式感和欢愉的空间氛围。
Banquet hotels stand as a unique category within hospitality typologies. While conventional hotels prioritize creating tranquil, restful spaces with serene aesthetics, the architectural ingenuity of banquet hotels focuses entirely on orchestrating those vibrant, convivial gatherings filled with clinking glasses and joyous reunions—until the last guest departs and the celebration concludes, leaving behind indelible memories. Here, architecture and spatial design craft both the ceremonial grandeur and festive atmosphere that define these occasions.

抽象的聚落
Abstract Settlement
这组隐匿于林间的建筑群并非传统庄园的具象再现,而是建筑师构建出的一组庞大的秩序。项目位于四川省崇州市,用地四周被大面积的苗圃密林环绕,幽静私密,用地对城市并没有任何展示面,只有密林中一条长长的道路可以到达。

Tucked away in the forest, this architectural ensemble is not a literal recreation of a traditional manor, but rather a grand systematic order meticulously crafted by the architects. The project is nestled within expansive woodlands in Chongzhou, Sichuan Province. This secluded retreat is disconnected from urban contexts, accessible solely through a single forest path.

很难想象在这样一块安静私密的用地之中,要建设一座可以同时容纳3000人的宴会酒店。作为专业的宴会酒店,功能需求多样且复杂,包含多个不同主题风格的大型婚礼宴会厅,商务多功能厅,接待中心,独立运营的餐厅,私密的会所空间以及少量客房。建筑师选择用一组抽象的聚落形态去组织起复杂且庞大的功能。超大尺度的坡顶屋檐,中尺度的几何形体以及众多小尺度的功能单元,被一种隐含的秩序并置在一起。▼轴测图,axonometric©吾和建筑事务所

It’s hard to construct a banquet hotel capable of accommodating 3,000 guests simultaneously on such a tranquil and private piece of land. As a professional banquet hotel, it entails diverse and complex functional requirements, including multiple grand wedding banquet halls with different thematic styles, multifunctional business halls, a reception center, independently operated restaurants, exclusive club spaces, and a limited number of guest rooms. The architects have conceived the complex through an abstract settlement approach, where three distinct architectural scales – monumental pitched roofs, mid-scale geometric volumes, and clusters of compact functional units – are unified through an implicit structural logic.

入口长廊
Entry Corridor
如何把一座酒店第一次展现在客人面前,让抵达变得不平凡,始终是建筑师最愿意倾注创意的地方。在这座酒店的整体规划中,建筑师以超乎所有人预期的方式,打开了通向庄园的入口——一座犹如教堂一样的抽象几何形体,从周围建筑中探出, 12米高的山墙形体,向外悬挑4米而出,形成一个具有吸引力的狭长廊道。
How to present a hotel to guests for the first time and make their arrival extraordinary has always been where architects are most eager to pour their creativity into. The architect designed the entrance as an abstract geometric form resembling a chapel emerges from the surrounding buildings. Its 12-meter-high gabled structure cantilevers outward by 4 meters, forming an alluring, narrow promenade.

这座具有象征意义的入口廊道,被设计在水中,地面由红洞石铺筑,像是欢迎宾客的红毯,将视线引导至远处的宴会厅。两侧是严谨序列感的白色墙体,顶部以高耸的拱形挑空空间,制造抵达和步入的仪式感。
This symbolic entrance promenade is designed to float above water, with its pathway paved in red travertine. Flanked by orderly white walls in a rigorous sequence, the corridor is crowned with towering arched voids overhead, creating a profound sense of ceremony upon arrival and passage.

两侧以空心砖砌筑出的墙垣,犹如一道道屏风,似隔非隔,将两侧的建筑和水面景观暂时屏蔽在视线之外。水平高窗射入的阳光,把橙金色的高耸空间打亮,宾客的视线暂时已经专注在这座廊道中,直到在廊道尽头看到内部水景庭院,空间才豁然开朗起来。
The walls on both sides, constructed with hollow bricks, resemble a series of screens—semi-transparent partitions that momentarily obscure the adjacent buildings and waterfront views from sight. Sunlight streams in through clerestory windows, illuminating the golden-orange space. It is not until reaching the end of the corridor, where an inner aquatic courtyard comes into view.

白色“谷仓”
The white barn
整座酒店的接待中心,被构想成一座纯白色的礼堂,设计在入口长廊的右侧。这座独立的礼堂外表看起像是树林中的一座封闭的谷仓,漂浮在水面之上,只有通过主廊道方可以到达。在迎着客人的山墙面巨大的开口中,一座弧形的桥梁,从水上划过。客人从接待中心的一楼大厅可以通过这座桥到达二楼的艺术展厅。
The entire reception center of the hotel is conceived as a pure white chapel, situated to the right of the entrance promenade. This standalone structure appears from the exterior like a secluded barn amidst the woods, floating above water—accessible only via the main corridor. Within the massive opening on the gabled facade facing guests, a graceful arched bridge sweeps across the water’s surface. Visitors can cross this bridge from the lobby on the first floor of the reception center to reach the art exhibition space on the second level.

在这个外表封闭的接待中心内部,建筑师将一座教堂的空间原型置入其中,希望能够在一个更加纯粹的仪式空间中接待第一次来到的客人。纯白色的两层通高空间,作为步入的序厅,两侧是升起的拱形的序列,顶部一条天窗引入自然光,经过艺术玻璃的过滤,阳光在顶部弥散开来,将序厅的空间形态刻画得柔和清晰。视线正前方,是等待客人的接待前台,前台接待空间被设计在一个12米高的圆形通高空间中,这个圆筒形体,被顶部的天光打亮,吸引着客人缓步进入。
Inside this seemingly enclosed reception center, the architect has embedded the spatial archetype of a chapel, aiming to welcome first-time guests within a more solemnly ritualistic setting. The pure white double-height lobby serves as a prelude to the arrival experience, flanked by ascending arched colonnades on both sides. A clerestory skylight at the top filters natural light through art glass, allowing sunlight to diffuse softly across the ceiling, gently delineating the contours of the vestibule with luminous clarity. At the focal point of this composition stands the reception desk—positioned within a dramatic 12-meter-high cylindrical volume. Bathed in zenithal light from the oculus above, this luminous rotunda beckons guests to enter with measured, reverent steps.

花园餐厅
Garden Pavilion Restaurant
整座酒店中,还设有一座可独立运营的餐厅。餐厅采用了私密包间和花园廊道的布局结构,每间餐厅或包间的休闲区,都被设计成独立的建筑形体。按照不同大小包间的组合,形成密林中一处私密的聚落形态。

The hotel also features a restaurant. Adopting an architectural layout of private dining rooms and garden corridors, each dining space or lounge area is conceived as a distinct architectural volume. These carefully arranged pavilions—varying in size and configuration—create an intimate cluster reminiscent of secluded woodland cottages nestled within dense foliage.

Access to each private dining room is preceded by an intimate garden courtyard, with these secluded green spaces interconnected by a winding white corridor. This luminous passageway—nestled amidst lush foliage and blossoming gardens—weaves through the composition.

抽象的“宫殿”
The Abstracted Palace
酒店中的核心功能,大体量的众多宴会厅被高效集约布置。高大的宴会厅统一被超尺度的斜坡屋顶覆盖,形成的廊道空间便自然串联起了所有的宴会厅。
The hotel’s core function—a cluster of large-capacity banquet halls—is arranged with efficient compactness. These grand venues are uniformly sheltered beneath an oversized sloped roof, whose resulting corridor spaces naturally interconnect all banquet halls into a cohesive whole.

宴会厅中,有10米层高的建筑体量,同样还有18米两层的宴会厅体量。宴会厅是酒店中最核心的功能体量,在整个的建筑群体中,应当拥有重要的仪式感和存在感。建筑师将传统建筑高等级的重檐宫殿的双层屋檐设计带入当代设计中,将大宴会厅体量,处理成一座抽象的重檐“宫殿”
Banquet halls, as the mostcore functional volumeof the hotel, should carry a strong sense ofritual significance and presencewithin the entire architectural complex. The architectreinterpretsthe traditionaldouble-eaved roofdesign—a signature feature of high-status palatial architecture—in a contemporary context. By doing so, the grand banquet hall is transformed into an abstract,modern “palace”with layered eaves, reinforcing itsmonumental staturewhile blending heritage with innovation.

这些超尺度的檐廊空间,形成了建筑群体中最重要的公共空间,宴会前后,客人可以在此处休憩放松,小坐于水岸边,感受自然。不同的檐廊空间,也造就了丰富的视线通廊,引导着每一位抵达的宾客,主动游走其间。
These oversized eaves corridors form the most vital public spaces within the architectural complex. Guests can relax and linger by the water’s edge before or after banquets, immersed in nature. The varied eaves corridors also create rich visual passages that subtly guide arriving visitors to explore the space organically.

转角处,为达到屋檐语言的抽象和现代性,转角被打开,两侧屋檐保持各自的独立性,弱化了庞大宴会厅的封闭体量感,这让屋檐的抽象片状语言更加凸显。
At the corner, the design achieves abstract modernity in the eaves’ language by opening up the intersection. The eaves on both sides maintain their independent profiles, mitigating the enclosed massiveness of the grand banquet hall. This treatment further accentuates the abstract, planar expression of the eaves system.

檐下空间
The Eaves Space
为了强化建筑的极致水平感,同时让檐廊空间更加开放,建筑师取消了檐廊空间的柱子,通过钢结构的悬挑,实现了近百米长廊的无柱化处理。在西方建筑和东方建筑中,习以为常的柱廊空间,在此处完全消失掉了任何竖向结构构件,檐口的极致水平性被强调。不同廊子的高度有5米,7米,9米高,而檐口高度统一在2.35米高,游走在不同的廊道之中,屋檐对廊子空间的覆盖感被强化,檐口对外景的框景也在流动变化。
To accentuate the architecture’s extreme horizontality while enhancing the openness of the eaves corridor space, the architect eliminated all columns in the corridor area. Through steel cantilever structures, a nearly 100-meter-long colonnade-free passage was achieved. Here, the conventional colonnade space—common in both Western and Eastern architecture—completely dispenses with any vertical structural elements, emphasizing the eaves’ ultimate horizontal expression. The corridors vary in height (5m, 7m, 9m), yet all share a uniform eave height of 2.35 meters. As one moves through these spaces, the eaves’ overarching presence intensifies, while their carefully calibrated frames dynamically curate the exterior views.
