海棠河生态公园二期景观设计丨中国三亚丨LOLA Landscape Architects

海棠河水系综合治理工程以“国家海岸，文明内河”为整体蓝图。在过去的几十年里，跟随历史的长河，海棠河一直紧跟城市发展的变迁，从自然滩涂到鱼塘农田，再到现在的生态公园，河流仍将变化，但这一次，我们希望是由河流来塑造海棠湾的无限未来。

The overall blueprint of the comprehensive management project of the Haitang River system is“National Coast Civilization Inland River”. In the past decades, following the long river of history, Haitang River has been following the changes of urban development, from natural mudflats to fishponds and farmland, to the present eco-park, The river will still be changing, but this time, we hope that the river will shape the infinite future of Haitang Bay.

Natural Habitat, Tropical Hospitality

海棠河二期旨在打造全球热带河道生态治理典范，以“自然生息，热带礼遇”为设计理念。基于生态学、水系统、植物学和微气候的知识，我们为河流提供了呼吸，为潮汐和雨水流动留出了空间，为动植物唤活了得以茁壮生长的环境，并为游客创造了可以持续地享受热带奇观的机会。

Aiming to create a global model of ecological management for tropical rivers, Haitang River Phase II is designed with the concept of“Tropical Wonder”in mind. Based on knowledge of ecology, water systems, and microclimates, we provide breathing space for the river, space for tidal and rainwater flows, flowering plants and trees, a thriving environment for flora and fauna, and opportunities for visitors to enjoy tropical wonders sustainably.

海棠河生态治理六部曲

Six Steps to Ecological Restoration of Haitang River

针对原有土壤贫瘠、外来红树、耕地荒废、林地退化、生态本底脆弱，生物多样性匮乏等挑战，项目团队精准施策，系统性地提出并实施了“海棠河生态治理六步曲”，这一实践成功定义了热带河域公园生态修复的新范式。

Aiming at the challenges of poor soil, mangrove invasion, deserted farmland, degraded woodland, fragile ecological base and lack of biodiversity, the project team has precisely implemented the“Six Steps of Ecological Management of Haitang River”, which successfully defines a new paradigm of ecological restoration in tropical river parks.

1、基底夯土，焕活135公顷土地生命力

Soil remediation, revitalize 135 hectares of land

作为一条人工开挖的河道，沿河两岸的土壤多年来因农耕被过度开垦，土壤沙化贫瘠，专家团队采用客土换填法、生态固氮法、酸碱中和法等方式，分步改良土壤基质，提高土壤肥力，为动植物提供适宜生活生长的自然环境。每一寸土壤的修复都是对大地载物的致敬。

As an artificially excavated river, the banks of the Haitang River had long suffered from over-cultivation, leading to severe soil degradation and desertification. To address this, the expert team adopted a phased approach using methods such as topsoil replacement, ecological nitrogen fixation and pH neutralization. These techniques systematically improved the soil matrix, creating a more suitable natural habitat for both flora and fauna.Every inch of soil restoration is a tribute to the Earth’s nurturing power.

2、红树归来，唤醒10公里河岸自由呼吸

Mangroves return, awakening 10 kilometersof riverbanks to breathe freely

海棠河河流两岸最初都被外来红树物种拉关木封堵覆盖，河流无法呼吸。项目与三亚市山水项目合作，清退了沿河近18公顷的拉关木，结合水岸潮汐水位，共补植本土红树品种11种。修复的潮间带红树林不仅能强化河道防洪能力，预留了潮汐空间，修复水质，构建“可呼吸的河道”，更成为鱼类与鸟类的育幼天堂。每一汪水域的吐纳都是对河流净化的蓄力。

Once choked by the invasive mangrove species Laguncularia racemosa, both banks of the Haitang River were densely overgrown. In collaboration with the Sanya Government-led mangrove project, the team cleared nearly 18 hectares of Laguncularia and replanted 11 native mangrove species, tailored to the tidal rhythms of the riverbanks. The rehabilitated intertidal mangroves now not only enhance flood resilience and improve water quality, but also shape a “breathable river corridor”—a thriving nursery for fish and birds alike.Every breath of water exchange is a step toward river purification.

3、耕地保育，复苏35公顷农耕文明基因

Cultivated land conservation, reviving the genes of 35 hectares of farming civilization

设计有针对性地保留了河道两岸35公顷的农田，并轮作海南本土农作物，充分利用农田进行大地艺术造景，既保护了三亚土地的耕地属性，丰富了生境类型的同时，美化了城市风貌，丰富了游客的游览体验。每一亩农田的保育都是对农耕智慧的传承。

The design intentionally preserved 35 hectares of farmland along both sides of the river, implementing crop rotation with native Hainan species. These fields were also creatively integrated into land art installations, not only safeguarding the farmland of Sanya and enriching habitat diversity, but also enhancing the urban landscape and offering visitors a more immersive and aesthetically engaging experience.Every acre of farmland conservation is a tribute to the wisdom of traditional agriculture.

4、林地再野，演替29公顷乡土植物群落

Woodland rewilding, succession of 29 hectares of native plant communities

应对热带气候植被生长速度，我们采用林地再野的策略，并结合现状植被品种，种植了六大乡土植物群系进一步丰富生态本底的同时，通过撒播种植降低公园建设和未来运维成本。每一片森林的成型都是对自然韧性的强化。

In response to the rapid growth cycles of tropical vegetation, a rewilding strategy was adopted. By integrating existing plant species with six major native plant communities, the project enriched the ecological foundation. At the same time, broadcast seeding was used to reduce both construction and long - term maintenance costs. Every forest that takes shape is a reinforcement of nature’s resilience.

5、生境营造，构筑近海生物多样性博物馆

Habitat creation for offshore biodiversity museums

我们沿海棠河两岸营造了12大热带生境，新种植500+种植物，清除8大入侵物种，保留约6000棵原生乔木，迁地保护近20种濒危植物。从水域到陆地，从农田到果林，丰富的生境极大丰富了生物多样性，公园建成后生物多样性指数可从0.35增加至2.85，预计五年后香农指数可达到3.5。每一株草木的新生都是对万物生灵的滋养。

Along both banks of the Haitang River, we created 12 tropical habitats, introduced over 500 new plant species, removed 8 major invasive species, preserved around 6000 existing trees, and protected nearly 20 endangered species. From water to land, from farmland to orchards, the diverse habitats have significantly enhanced biodiversity. Following park completion, the biodiversity index is expected to rise from 0.35 to 2.85, with the Shannon Index projected to reach 3.5 within five years.Everysprout of new vegetation nourishes all living beings.

6、动物友好，贯通多物种循环栖息廊道

Animal friendly, through multi-species circulating habitat corridors

修复后的公园，从水岸的红树林，到农田，陆地上的森林，形成了水，陆，林，田循环动植物系统。在植物选择上，通过种植花源，蜜源，果源等植物，河两岸平均20%生态食源比例，构建热带生境食源网络。公园未来预计吸引动物400+种。一系列的动物友好措施将助力构建循环栖息廊道。每一种动物的栖息都是对生命契约的践行。

The restored park forms a circular ecosystem of water, land, forest, and farmland, ranging from mangroves along the shoreline to farmland and forests. In terms of planting strategy, a diverse selection of nectar, pollen, and fruit-bearing species ensures that approximately 20% of vegetation serves as ecological food sources, creating a robust trophic network for tropical habitats. The park is projected to attract over 400 animal species. A suite of animal-friendly interventions will support the formation of a continuous, self-sustaining habitat corridor. Every animal’s habitat is a fulfillment of the life contract.

To craft a vibrant tropical riverside blueprint, the LOLA team explored renowned tropical destinations across the globe and ventured deep into native rainforests. They conducted in-depth studies of nearly ten botanical gardens, both in China and abroad. This lush tropical ecological sanctuary now opens in full bloom,inviting you on a wondrous journey of nature, vitality, and imagination.

Vitality and Discovery

依托自然地势与热带阔叶植物群落构建生态共生系统，通过蜿蜒溪流、叠瀑及五大主题植物段落，如同精心编排的雨林奏鸣曲，从附生花园的空中奇观到芋类溪流的湿润叙事，每一步都踩在热带雨林的呼吸节拍上。

Shaped by natural terrain and tropical broadleaf communities, the design creates an ecological symbiosis. Through streams, waterfalls, and five themed planting zones paired with a misting system, the landscape plays out like a meticulously composed rainforest sonata. From the aerial wonders of the Epiphyte Garden to the moist narratives of the Taro Stream, every step pulses to the rhythmic breath of the tropical rainforest.

我们以热带的典型生态现象为灵感系统呈现热带雨林智慧与植物进化奇观，如河水般流动的路径串联了空中花园、老茎生花、珍稀植物与沙生植物四大主题花园，为访客提供视觉惊叹与生态认知的沉浸式探索体验。

Inspired by typical tropical ecological phenomena, we systematically showcase the wisdom of the rainforest and the marvels of plant evolution. Flowing like a river, the pathways connect four themed gardens—Sky Garden, Cauliflory Garden, Rare Plants Garden, and Xerophytic Plants Garden—offering visitors an immersive experience of visual wonder and ecological insight.

Run运动公园:以三亚蓝与活力橙为视觉主轴，融合热带阔叶植物美学，设五大专业运动场地（含国际赛事级滑板区），通过动态视觉叙事将自然符号与运动场景共生，打造热带滨水运动综合体—RUN运动公园。

RUN Sport Park:centers on Sanya Blue and Vibrant Orange as its visual theme, blending tropical broadleaf plant aesthetics with five specialized sports venues—including an international competition-grade skatepark. Through dynamic visual storytelling, natural elements and athletic scenes coexist, creating a comprehensive tropical waterfront sports complex—RUN Sports Park.

热烈与绽放

Passion and Bloom

南国花丘与流花山谷：在海棠湾城市中心腹地，以河流为脉络，我们以大地艺术手法重塑两岸地形，打造“南国花丘”与“流花山谷”两大主题景观。在未来海棠湾旅游旺季，将实现1km两岸繁花，以热带花卉的热烈绽放，引游客流连忘返。

Tropical Blossom Mound and Floral Valley: Located in the heart of Haitang Bay’s urban center and following the river’s course, we reshaped the terrain on both banks using land art techniques to create two signature landscapes: the Tropical Blossom Mound and FloralValley. During the peak tourist season, a one-kilometer stretch of blooming tropical flowers along both riverbanks will captivate visitors, inviting them to linger and explore.

Healing and Wellness

听风椰林：精选10余种热带棕榈植物，以圆形设计语言围合多个静谧的草坪空间。当微风拂过，沙沙作响的棕榈叶与摇曳的光影交织，营造出独具热带风情的自然疗愈空间。在这里，游人可以静坐休憩，聆听叶语，感受热带植物带来的宁静与放松。

Whispering Palm Grove：Over ten tropical palm species are carefully selected and arranged in a circular design language, forming a series of tranquil lawn enclosures. As the breeze flows through, the rustling of palm fronds mingles with dappled light and shadow, creating a uniquely tropical, healing atmosphere. Here, visitors are invited to sit in stillness, listen to the language of the leaves, and experience the calm and relaxation offered by tropical greenery.

清凉城市

Cooling City

清凉城市：为响应三亚“清凉城市”建设，设计最大程度保留原生乔木，沿主路与滨水步道种植冠大荫浓的乡土常绿乔木，搭配遮阴廊架，共同构建起连续的绿荫系统，整体遮荫率＞70%。在热带的阳光下，人们依然能漫步于树影之间，感受扑面而来的清凉绿意与片刻宁静。

Cooling City: In response to the construction of Sanya’s “Cool City”, the design maximizes the retention of native trees, planting native evergreen trees with large crowns and thick shade along the main road and the waterfront walkway, together with shade corridors, to build up a continuous shade system, with an overall shade rate of >70%. Under the tropical sunshine, people can still stroll between the shadows of the trees and feel the cool greenness and a moment of tranquility.

海棠河二期的圆满建成，标志着海棠湾“国家海岸，文明内河”整体愿景的实现。作为三亚推动河湾共荣、建设世界级滨海旅游城市的关键一笔，海棠河生态公园已然崛起为海南自由贸易港生态文旅的新标杆。

The successful completion of Phase II of the Haitang River Ecopark marks the realization of Haitang Bay’s grand vision: a“National Coast, Civilized Inland River.”
