An Intelligent Gastro-Bar

This study analyses how artificial intelligence and human interaction can work together to enhance the fine dining customer experience through interior design.

This research intends to find a successful middle point between AI applications and traditional service models, sharpening how technology can improve the dining experience, without overshadowing the human touch.

This project envisions a high-end gastro bar in central London, housed in a carefully chosen three-story historic building that marries tradition with technology. The design offers a sensory, responsive atmosphere adjusting lighting, sound, and visuals in real time to guests’ moods through AI-driven systems. Inspired by London’s architectural heritage and serving refined English cuisine, every detail enhances the experience, allowing staff to focus on impeccable service. The result is a graceful fusion of heritage and innovation.

This project seeks to honor London’s cozy interior heritage with a refined modern touch, using traditional materials adapted for contemporary atmospheres. Designed with a focus on comfort and experience, the layout considers sightlines, lighting, flow, and warmth from every seat.

Blending heritage with innovation, the space integrates AI and machine learning to adjust lighting, temperature, and ambiance in real time, responding to guests' moods and creating an emotionally intuitive, living environment.

A key immersive feature is the visual storytelling AI-generated artworks that evolve with the room’s mood, responding to guests’ expressions, tones, and behaviour. These subtle, dynamic visuals blend seamlessly into the atmosphere, sometimes appearing as interactive paintings.

An AI-generated musical ensembles enhance the experience, tailored in dress, sound, and setting to reflect the  collected ambiance. Together, these sensory elements create a uniquely personal and emotionally curated dining experience.
