Project Title:Tazzera – A Cultural Escape in the Heart of Siwa

Project Description:This graduation project presents the conceptual and spatial design of Tazzera, a traditional Siwan café and safari zone located in Aghurmi, one of the oldest villages in Siwa Oasis, Egypt. The idea stems from the desire to create a space that reflects the rich cultural identity of Siwa while offering visitors a unique and immersive desert experience.

At Tazzera, guests can enjoy the famous Zarda Siwan tea, prepared and served in a setting inspired by the local architecture and social traditions. The café's design captures the warmth of Siwan gatherings, complemented by the magical atmosphere of star-filled desert nights.

Attached to the café is a safari and camping area, providing an adventurous extension to the experience. This part of the project is designed to reflect the spirit of desert exploration, offering comfortable camping spaces, traditional tents, and guided experiences into the surrounding natural landscape.

The integration between the café and the safari area aims to create a seamless flow between leisure, culture, and adventure, making Tazzera a memorable stop for both locals and travelers.
