跑马场三明治丨中国上海丨季意空间设计

项目位于上海西岸梦中心，这里曾是亚洲最大水泥厂——上海水泥厂旧址，毗邻黄浦江岸线。跑马场三明治（PAOMACHANG）在这里拓展了其品牌的空间叙事，我们为其打造了两大核心体验空间：一个融合精品咖啡与创意酒饮的沉浸式日咖夜酒复合场域，以及与其隔街相望、紧密呼应的三明治主门店。设计聚焦于激活工业遗存，将筒仓内六个巨型锥形储料桶转化为空间叙事的核心载体与功能舞台，在粗犷的混凝土肌理上，注入跑马场标志性的复古美式基因与当代活力。

Nestled within Shanghai West Bund Dream Center—formerly the site of Asia’s largest cement plant, adjacent to the Huangpu River—PAOMACHANG expands its brand narrative through two interconnected spaces: an immersive “daytime café to nighttime bar” hybrid venue, and its flagship sandwich store across the street. The design revitalizes industrial heritage by transforming six massive conical storage silos into functional stages, infusing raw concrete textures with PAOMACHANG’s signature retro-American aesthetic and contemporary energy.

第一章筒仓新生

Chapter 1: Rebirth of the Silos

在筒仓改造项目中，这座承载着历史印记的水泥厂筒仓迎来了新生。跑马场将其三明治品牌延展进这一独特的半地下空间，并在此引入全新业态——咖啡与酒，丰富了品牌的服务维度与场景体验。

The cement plant silos, bearing historical imprints, are reimagined as PAOMACHANG extends its brand into this unique semi-underground space. Here, a new concept—specialty coffee by day and craft cocktails by night—enriches the brand’s experiential dimensions.

原筒仓的核心结构由六个标志性的锥形水泥储料桶构成，曾作为物料分发的中转系统。如今，我们将其重新定义为 “咖啡与酒饮的制造装置” 。这一功能性的转换，不仅是对工业遗存的活化利用，更是在厚重的历史肌理上，植入当代生活方式，打造出一个沉浸式的复古功能体验场域。

Originally a material distribution hub, the six iconic conical silos are reinvented as “coffee and cocktail fabrication units.” This functional transformation not only revitalizes industrial relics but also layers contemporary lifestyles onto historical textures, creating an immersive retro-functional experience.

第二章结构、光影与沉浸氛围

Chapter 2: Structure, Light, and Immersive Atmosphere

空间布局以中心吧台为核心，其背后是一组巨大的“液体调配机器”，仿佛重新演绎了工业时代的能量中枢。四个巨大的锥桶结构环绕吧台，形成稳定而聚合的围合关系，奠定了空间的仪式感与沉浸基调。

The central bar anchors the space, backed by a colossal “liquid-mixing machine” that echoes industrial-era dynamism. Four towering silos encircle the bar, establishing a cohesive, ritualistic ambiance.

日间，自然光勾勒出混凝土的粗粝质感；入夜，柔和的光线自锥桶内部弥散而出，模拟咖啡流动的意向，营造出静谧而富有呼吸感的视觉韵律。锥形结构的组合关系被巧妙利用：当装置闭合，下方结构通过镜面反射形成上方锥桶的“倒影”；装置外圈可拆卸，既是展示内部结构的窗口，亦可转化为实用的客用边桌。顾客环绕这些“功能装置”落座，在光、形、味的交织中，体验独特的空间氛围。

By day, natural light accentuates the concrete’s ruggedness; by night, soft glows diffuse from within the silos, evoking flowing coffee and weaving a tranquil, rhythmic visual poetry. The conical structures’ design is ingeniously versatile: When closed, mirrored bases reflect the upper silos, creating an illusion of inverted forms. Detachable outer rings serve as display windows or functional side tables. Patrons gather around these “functional installations,” enveloped in an interplay of light, form, and aroma.

在其中一个主要的锥桶空间内，我们将跑马场品牌所特有的复古美式风格融入其中，选用1980年代的色彩系统，唤醒怀旧情绪。同时，将锥桶的结构特征抽象化，结合咖啡滤杯形态，设计出一个独特的下沉纹样装置。这个图案带有强烈的神秘感，从锥形顶部向下破碎、蔓延，最后汇聚在六个锥桶的中心区域，形成强烈的视觉引导，隐喻着物质的流动与能量的汇聚，成为空间的视觉锚点。

Within a primary silo, PAOMACHANG’s retro-American style is realized through a 1980s color palette, evoking nostalgia. The conical form is abstracted into a sunken patterned installation inspired by coffee filters. This motif—fragmenting from the apex and converging at the base—creates a visual anchor, symbolizing material flow and energy coalescence.

中心位置设有一个巨大的发光圆环，将所有圆锥结构串联起来，构建出一个统一、完整的视觉核心。圆环结构延伸至筒仓外部，将半地下空间与地面景观自然衔接，消解边界，增强空间的开放性与可达性。

A luminous central ring links all silos, forming a unified focal point. The ring extends beyond the silo, seamlessly connecting the semi-underground space to the street-level landscape, dissolving boundaries and enhancing accessibility.

暖光聚焦核心区域营造微醺氛围，光纤在结构间勾勒流动路径，共同编织出或私密或张力十足的场景。材质尤其是原生混凝土在光线的雕琢下，成为空间叙事的重要载体，完美支撑了从日间活力咖啡馆到夜间沉醉酒吧的无缝场景切换。

Warm light crafts intimate vignettes, while fiber optics trace fluid pathways across structures. Raw concrete, sculpted by light, becomes the narrative backbone, enabling seamless transitions from a vibrant daytime café to an intoxicating nocturnal bar.

第三章三明治主场

Chapter 3: The Sandwich Hub

筒仓正立面延续了内部纹样的设计语言，结合跑马场品牌调性，运用复古线条与色块强化整体视觉识别度。

与其隔街相望的，是跑马场的三明治主场，门头设计精准呼应了筒仓的锥形结构语言，运用相似的几何形态、比例关系与工业质感的材质肌理，形成视觉连续性。两个场所虽功能不同，却在空间语言上形成统一的叙述，显著强化了跑马场三明治的整体形象识别度与场所归属感。

Across the street, PAOMACHANG’s flagship sandwich store echoes the silos’ conical geometry through matching proportions, industrial materials, and textures. Though functionally distinct, the two spaces speak a unified design dialect, amplifying the brand’s visual cohesion and sense of place.

在这个空间里，工业筒仓的厚重历史被创新性地转化为品牌叙事的崭新载体。季意以光为媒介，结构为骨架，在混凝土的原始画布上，创造了一个从日间清醒到夜间微醺的沉浸式旅程，通过精心构建的双空间视觉与体验联动，实现品牌内涵的深度拓展。

Here, the weight of industrial history is innovatively recast as a vessel for brand storytelling. GE uses light as a medium and structure as a framework, painting an immersive journey from daytime alertness to evening intoxication on concrete’s primal canvas. Through meticulously crafted visual and experiential synergy across dual spaces, the project deepens PAOMACHANG’s brand essence.
