Vipp Todos Santos 是丹麦品牌 Vipp 在欧洲以外开设的首个旅馆项目，坐落于墨西哥托多斯桑托斯（Todos Santos），由墨西哥著名建筑事务所 Pérez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados（PPAA）设计。该项目由事务所创始人巴勃罗·佩雷斯·帕拉西奥斯（Pablo Pérez Palacios）主导，他以极富敏感性的设计手法，使夯土结构自身成为建筑语言的核心，并巧妙框定远处的太平洋景观。

Vipp Todos Santos is the first hotel project opened by the Danish brand Vipp outside Europe, located in Todos Santos, Mexico. Designed by the renowned Mexican architectural firm Perez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados (PPAA). This project was led by Pablo Perez Palacios, the founder of the firm. With his highly sensitive design approach, he made the rammed earth structure itself the core of the architectural language and ingeniously framed the distant Pacific Ocean landscape.

夯土技术蕴含数百年智慧，压缩泥土墙体能够因应沙漠气候，白昼自然散热降温，夜晚蓄热保温，适应沿海昼夜温差。这种可持续性非单纯的营销策略，而是材料对地方环境的智慧回应，早于现代环境保护意识的兴起，体现出建筑与环境的自然融合和对地方气候文化的高度契合。

Rammed earth technology embodies hundreds of years of wisdom. Compressed earth walls can adapt to the desert climate, naturally dissipating heat and cooling during the day and storing heat and keeping warm at night, thus adapting to the temperature difference between day and night along the coast. This sustainability is not merely a marketing strategy, but a wise response of materials to the local environment. It precoexists with the rise of modern environmental protection awareness, demonstrating the natural integration of architecture with the environment and a high degree of alignment with local climate and culture.

室内设计方面，丹麦设计师索菲·克里斯滕森·埃格伦（Sofie Christensen Egelund）将 Vipp 工业遗产与墨西哥工艺传统巧妙融合。她提及祖父1939年设计的储物箱时，强调设计不仅承载审美，更是一种制造哲学的传承。新推出的限量版旋转椅选用 Pierre Frey 的鲜活织锦面料，搭配工业风阳极氧化铝框架，完美展现设计与工艺的结合，坚韧之余更蕴含墨西哥视觉文化的色彩律动。

In terms of interior design, Danish designer Sofie Christensen Egelund ingeniously combines Vipp's industrial heritage with Mexican craftsmanship traditions. When she mentioned the storage box designed by her grandfather in 1939, she emphasized that design not only carries aesthetics but also is a continuation of a manufacturing philosophy. The newly launched limited edition rotating chair is made of Pierre Frey's vibrant brocade fabric and paired with an industrial-style anodized aluminum frame, perfectly showcasing the combination of design and craftsmanship. It is not only tough but also embodies the color rhythm of Mexican visual culture.

室内设计师朱莉·克洛斯·莫尔斯高（Julie Cloos Mølsgaard）在设计中尊重地方传统，避免文化挪用。采用当地土著枝条编织的百叶窗，不仅遮挡阳光，更将光线过滤为不断变化的图案，宛如空间中的时间日晷。每个房间通过阴影与光影变化，标记时间的流逝，赋予空间生命感。

Interior designer Julie Cloos Mølsgaard respects local traditions in her designs and avoids cultural appropriation. The blinds woven from local indigenous branches not only block sunlight but also filter the light into constantly changing patterns, just like a time sundial in the space. Each room marks the passage of time through shadows and changes in light and shadow, endowing the space with a sense of life.

屋顶的圆形泳池既是设施，更是一件建筑艺术品，其完美几何形态呼应墨西哥古老天然井（cenote），被巴勃罗誉为“天空中的绿洲”。该设计强调当代建筑如何将自然景观作为空间的积极参与者，而非单纯背景。

The circular swimming pool on the roof is not only a facility but also an architectural work of art. Its perfect geometric form echoes the ancient natural well (cenote) in Mexico and was praised by Pablo as "an oasis in the sky". This design emphasizes how contemporary architecture can treat natural landscapes as active participants in space rather than merely as a backdrop.

整体体量布局尊重并回应地形特征，涵盖主建筑、连结客房及层叠露台，共同构建出一个如同场地自然生长的建筑景观。由此，Vipp Todos Santos 提出了酒店建筑的全新理念，摒弃外来形式的强加，转而打造与自然环境及文化脉络共生的空间形态。

The overall volume layout respects and responds to the terrain features, covering the main building, connecting guest rooms and tiered terraces, jointly creating an architectural landscape that seems to grow naturally on the site. Thus, Vipp Todos Santos proposed a brand-new concept of hotel architecture, discarding the imposition of foreign forms and instead creating a spatial form that coexists with the natural environment and cultural context.
