“宾至如归”作为核心理念，Chandon在其起源地宅邸的改造中展开了一场关于历史、风土、匠艺与叙事的多层次空间设计实践。

“Hosting with Heart” served as the guiding motto in the homestead redesign for sparkling winemaker Chandon. Layered design elements are incorporated into the interior of this historic building to create a celebration of history, terroir, craftsmanship and storytelling.

项目位于Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung土地之上，亚拉河谷的冷凉气候和多样化风土为这片澳大利亚葡萄园提供了得天独厚的条件，孕育出世界知名起泡酒品牌 Chandon 的风味基础。我们在设计中充分回应场地语境，从周边层叠的自然景观、色调与肌理中汲取灵感，重新构想了始建于19世纪80年代的 Green Point宅邸室内空间。

Located on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country, the cool-climate and diverse terroir of  the Yarra Valley provides fertile ground for the Australian vineyard for global sparkling wine maker, Chandon. Our vision for their homestead embraced site context by drawing inspiration from the layered surrounding landscape, tones and textures.

改造聚焦于三个关键区域，分别提供不同的体验场景：迎宾与零售空间、大型团体活动使用的Green Point酒廊，以及适用于私密品鉴与企业活动的Vintage Room（年份室）。我们的材料策略以原始肌理与温暖的土色色调为主，呼应当地的沙质土壤、黏土与红色火山岩土层，同时以反射性与光滑的材质作对比，映照品牌酿酒技艺与精选体验的精致。Chandon希望通过此次宅邸焕新呈现其与在地艺术家与手工艺人的合作，我们促成了多方共创的可能，选用的创作者皆在媒材或主题上与Chandon Australia的精神内核相呼应。例如：Emma Shepherd编织的定制挂毯描绘了亚拉河流域的景象，Kristin Burgham的石膏作品则取材自香桐起泡酒瓶。艺术的融入，成为整个空间叙事的一部分。

We reimagined the interior of the former 1880’s Green Point homestead, focusing on three key spaces offering different experiences; the entry reception and retail space, the Green Point Lounge for larger group events and the Vintage Room for intimate tastings and corporate events. Our material strategy consistently featured raw textures and warm earthy tones reflecting the sandy, clay and red volcanic soil of the area, contrasted with reflective and sleek finishes that mirror the refined nature of the brand’s winemaking and curated experiences. Part of the brand’s intent for the homestead experience was to feature the work of local artists and makers throughout. We facilitated these collaborations by engaging makers whose medium or subject matter relate to the Chandon Australia ethos. From Emma Shepherd’s custom handwoven wall hanging depicting the local Yarra River, to Kristin Burgham’s plaster casts of Chandon sparkling bottles, the presence of art is part of the storytelling experience.

我们在设计过程中超越了传统的室内设计职能，转化为空间的协同策展人，将定制家具、饰面与灯光设计与在地自然环境、品牌历史与工艺脉络相交织，形成多层次的空间体验。我们与客户以及 Craft Victoria、Pepite、MrKitly 等平台合作，联合多位手工艺人参与其中：家具设计师 Barbera、Jordan Flemming、Grazia&Co、Maas、John Bastiras、Daniel Bodham 与 Oignall；纺织艺术家 Emma Shepherd 与 Jacquie Lazzarotto；艺术家 Kate Tucker 与 Indivi Sutton；陶艺家 Lauren Joffe、Emily Ellis、Georgina Proud、Tessy King、Alison Frith、Minhi Park、RL Foote、Terunobu Hirata 和 Ella Reweti；门饰设计师 Suzie Stafford、桌饰设计师 Anna Varendorff、玻璃器皿创作者 Amanda Dziedzic，以及 Antaeus Flowers 提供的绿植容器。这一系列协作展现出当代室内设计如何通过本地工艺与知识系统，打造充满意义与个性化的空间。

Our role as interior designers transcended to being collaborative curators of space, layering our custom designed joinery, finishes and lighting with objects and art referencing local environment and brand history and craft. We worked closely with the client and artisans represented by Craft Victoria, Pepite, and MrKitly. Furniture makers Barbera, Jordan Flemming, Grazia&Co, Maas, John Bastiras, Daniel Bodham, and Oignall, plus weavers Emma Shepherd and Jacquie Lazzarotto collectively contribute to this multifaceted space. This collaborative nature demonstrates how contemporary interior design can create meaningful spaces made up of highly considered design drawn from a wealth of local skills and knowledge. Artists include Kate Tucker and Indivi Sutton. Ceramicists Lauren Joffe, Emily Ellis, Georgina Proud, Tessy King, Alison Frith, Minhi Park, RL Foote, Terunobu Hirata & Ella Reweti. 设计的创新之处在于空间功能与氛围的层次构建与关系编排。作为Chandon希望来宾“宾至如归”的体验承载体，我们将功能性空间需求融入一个温馨、居家的氛围之中，使招待与企业活动都能自然流转于宅邸之中。这种感受的塑造基于一系列温暖且具触感的材料为基础，并叠加布艺、艺术品、绿植、柔光及弥散的香气，构成完整而充盈的感官体验。在这一过程中，我们发现将功能逻辑与情感象征（例如熟悉感）交织，是构建宽厚、舒适与难忘空间体验的关键。这种功能与氛围的融合同样体现在我们为 Green Point 酒廊定制的吧台设计上：旋转的镜面屏风让备餐过程灵活地成为活动体验的一部分，在不同情境中实现空间的动态转换与仪式感叠加。

The design innovation lies in the layering and hierarchy of spatial program and atmosphere. As Chandon aspired for their visitors to feel at home in this space, we implemented the program requirements within a warm residential atmosphere that permeates the hospitality and corporate events that bring visitors to the homestead. This was achieved by creating a base of warm and tactile materials overlaid with décor, soft furnishings, art, indoor plants, ambient light and diffused scent. In this process we found a key way to create generosity, comfort and memorable experience into interior space is to cross reference pragmatics with symbolism of familiarity. Intersecting program and ambience was also evident in our custom designed servery in the Green Point Lounge, featuring pivoting mirrored screens to dynamically incorporate moments of food and beverage preparation into the lounge event experience.
