阿那亚店是胖妹面庄第一次远离城市,来到度假区。我们希望在这里为品牌带来放松、明快的形象,同时又保留之前胖妹面庄系列店的形象强度。
The Aranya branch marks Pang Mei Noodle Shop’s first foray outside the metropole, into a resort area. We aimed to create a relaxed and energetic image for the brand while maintaining the strong visual identity of the Pang Mei Noodle Shop franchise.

场地位于居住建筑的底商,有很长的面向开放景观的沿街立面,对景是大海边的一处小山坡。我们因此产生了“尽量打开客区,让所有的客人能够在进餐时观赏山坡”的想法。
The site, located on the ground floor of a residential building, has a long street-facing façade overlooking an open landscape, with a small hillside facing the sea. This led us to the idea of ”opening up the guest area as much as possible, allowing all guests to enjoy the hillside while dining.”

不利的因素是上部住宅的承重墙全部落在场地的平面上,使得空间被切分的十分细碎。但仔细看这些结构墙体会发现:横墙居多,是承重的主体,幸运的是它们与我们希望形成的客区视线方向平行。在横墙的端头一般会出现一小段纵向的转角结构,来平衡楼体所受的剪力。于是我们有了整体的计划:分为三步打开客区的视野。
A disadvantage was that the load-bearing walls of the upper residential building all fell within the site plane, resulting in a fragmented space. However, a closer look at these structural walls revealed that the main load-bearing elements were primarily horizontal. Fortunately, these walls are aligned parallel to the direction of the view we desired for the guest area. A short longitudinal corner structure typically appears at the top of these horizontal walls to balance the shear force acting on the building. This inspired us to develop a comprehensive plan: to open up the view from the guest area in three steps.

第一步:拆除原有底商的“布景”式的幕墙以及所有非承重的隔墙、管道包围,只留下承重墙体。
第二步:将制作区全部置于远离沿街立面的内侧,依据承重墙的划分细致的设计后厨的流线。
第三步:在承重墙体的端头随机加入一小段斜向收边的装饰墙体,为原本“不苟言笑”的结构系统添加“表情”。
Step One: to remove the existing “set-like” curtain wall of the basement, along with all non-load-bearing partitions and ductwork, leaving only the load-bearing walls.
Step Two: to relocate the entire production area to the interior, away from the street-facing facade, and to meticulously design the back-of-house flow based on the divisions of the load-bearing walls.
Step Three: to randomly add short sections of decorative wall with a diagonal edge at the ends of the load-bearing walls, introducing a note of levity to an otherwise quite rigorous structural system.

这样我们终于获得了面向小山坡的开放性的客区空间。在此基础上,我们进一步将客区的吊顶设计为倾斜,增强了面向山坡的“打开”体验。客区的布局简单的依据了横墙系统的模数进行条形摆放,将室内客区与外摆完全连为一体,“只有一道玻璃将他们分开”。▼剖透视,perspective section©空间站建筑师事务所
This resulted in an open guest area facing the hillside. Furthermore, we maximized the curved lines of the guest area’s sloped ceiling, enhancing the sense of an unobstructed view. The layout of the guest area is sober, arranged in strips based on the modularity of the horizontal wall system, seamlessly connecting the indoor and outdoor areas, “with only a glass barrier separating them.”

值得一提的是这个项目中与平面设计团队的合作。负责这家店平面设计的团队MEAT Studio是胖妹面庄品牌创立之初就一直合作的团队,他们担任了之前所有店面的平面设计工作,为品牌带来了鲜明的形象。这一次在空间设计之前,MEAT Studio就为这家“度假店”准备好了一整套不同于之前“城市店”的视觉系统。它色彩明快、形象夸张而有趣,让人联想起“阳光下海边沙滩上的食品亭”。
The collaboration with the graphic design team on this project has been noteworthy. MEAT Studio, the graphic design team responsible for this store, has been a long - standing partner of the Pang Mei Noodle Shop brand since its inception. They have designed the graphics for all previous locations, creating a distinctive brand identity. Before designing the space, MEAT Studio prepared a comprehensive visual system for this “resort” store, distinct from the previous “urban” ones. Its vibrant colors and playful, over - the - top imagery evoke the image a “food kiosk on a sunny beach.”

因此,我们在空间设计中默契的保持了设计的简单逻辑,让高强度的平面设计不被空间所打扰。平面设计内容舒展的出现在背景大屏幕、座椅和遮阳伞上,让熟识胖妹面庄的客人会心地感受到品牌形象在系列店中的传递。
In tacit agreement, we opted for a disciplined, sincere approach to the spatial design, allowing the high-intensity graphic design to remain undisturbed. The graphic design content is vivaciously displayed on large screens, seating, and parasols in the background, allowing patrons familiar with Pang Mei Noodle Shop to intuitively recognize the brand’s influence across the franchise.

完成的空间具有城市公共空间的尺度感和开放性,仿佛在沉重的“欧式”住宅底层打开了一个架空层,“托举”起上部的建筑。而客人们坐在舒适的,色彩斑斓的折叠椅上,沐浴海风却如临山城,放松惬意的享受一碗热辣“够劲”的重庆小面,这种奇妙的体验也许就是胖妹面庄的客人们乐此不疲的前来这家小店的原因吧。
The resulting space possesses the scale and airiness of an urban public space, as if a mezzanine floor has been opened up within the ground floor of a heavy “European-style” residence, while still “supporting” the building above. Guests, seated on comfortable, colorful folding chairs, may bask in the sea breeze while feeling as if they were in craggy Chongqing, relaxing and enjoying a hearty bowl of spicy noodles. This wonderful experience is perhaps the reason why Pang Mei Noodle Shop’s patrons continue to visit this smallish shop.
