Business Incubator Kozina – Interior Design (2024)

Client: Municipality of Hrpelje - Kozina

The client required a modern and flexible interior design for the new Business Incubator. The goal was to create a professional yet inspiring environment for young entrepreneurs, startups, and companies, with a key focus on multifunctional elements to support coworking, networking, group brainstorming, and lectures.

My Role: Responsible for developing the interior design concept, preparing floor plans and 3D visualizations, selecting materials and colors, and coordinating custom furniture solutions.

The spatial layout was based on an open-plan concept designed to accommodate a variety of distinct zones and dedicated spaces. This included coworking areas, brainstorming zones, informal meeting areas, resting spaces, and specific spots for focused work or active collaboration. To achieve this, transparent metal partitions were incorporated, equipped with integrated whiteboards and pull-out stools for flexible seating. A significant amount of greenery was also integrated for both aesthetic and acoustic purposes. Collaboration with carpenters and contractors ensured the final execution perfectly matched the concept.

Result: A contemporary and multifunctional workspace. The finished space offers young businesses an inspiring and comfortable environment to grow, with a focus on flexible, collaborative zones that enhance productivity and well-being.
