01项目背景

Project Background

今年年初，IM FINE Brunch&Bistro西宁首店正式运营，这是继两家IM FINE西安店之后，郭莘空间设计工作室为IM FINE设计的第三个空间。

In early this year, the first IM FINE Brunch&Bistro store in Xining officially commenced operation. This is the third space designed by Guo Xin Space Design Studio for IM FINE, following the two IM FINE stores in Xi’an.

在项目拍摄日，西宁的天空忽然飘起大雪，落雪的松林从西侧照进餐厅，伴着室内的熊熊炉火，清冽与温暖的感受弥漫在空间中，这是西宁这座城市的IM FINE餐厅所独有的特质，在高原的纯净中，有一处温暖、慵懒的角落，等待着食客的到来。雪景带来的空间感受，意味着我们实现了项目的设计初衷：延续品牌空间调性，结合场地外围的松林景观，增添自然属性；回应青海西宁地域特色完成在地化的设计表达。

On the project’s photography day, a heavy snow suddenly fell in the sky of Xining. The snow-covered pine forest shone into the restaurant from the west side, accompanied by the roaring indoor fire. A feeling of crispness and warmth permeated the space. This is the unique characteristic of the IM FINE restaurant in the city of Xining: within the purity of the high plateau, there is a warm and lazy corner waiting for the arrival of diners. The spatial sensation brought by the snowscape signifies that we have achieved the project’s design original intention to extend the brand’s spatial tone, add natural attributes by integrating with the surrounding pine forest landscape of the site, and complete a localized design expression in response to the regional characteristics of Xining, Qinghai.

项目选址于西宁市城西区一处商务中心的西北角，是一栋三层独立建筑，北邻街区主干道，为建筑的主要展示面，西侧接驳人行步道，有着较好的景观视野。项目所在建筑虽有独栋优势，但是同质化明显且缺乏亲和力。

The project is located at the northwest corner of a business center in Chengxi District, Xining City. It is a three-story independent building, adjacent to the main street of the block on the north side, which is the main display face of the building. It connects to a pedestrian walkway on the west side, offering a relatively good landscape view. Although the project’s building has the advantage of being standalone, it is homogenized and lacks affinity.

作为品牌在西宁这座城市的第一家门店，首先，我们希望IM FINE与城市之间有一个“say hello”的互动。于是，设计在建筑北侧外立面延伸出一块由白色钢板和玻璃构成的大尺幅展面，展面的高度经过推敲，确保来往街区的重要枢纽—人行天桥上的人们能够关注到这个“大手掌”标识，一个招手，一个微笑，代表着餐厅对城市、街区的友好，轻巧、活波的标识也符合餐厅对年轻化目标群体的定位。▼餐厅分析图，restaruant analysis©郭莘空间设计

As the brand’s first store in the city of Xining, firstly, we hoped that IM FINE would have a “say hello” interaction with the city. Therefore, the design extended a large-scale display surface made of white steel plates and glass on the north facade of the building. The height of the display surface was carefully considered to ensure that people on the pedestrian bridge—an important hub for street traffic—could notice this “big hand” sign. A wave, a smile, represents the restaurant’s friendliness towards the city and the neighborhood. The light and lively sign also aligns with the restaurant’s positioning towards a younger target demographic.

西宁夏季凉爽宜人，但是冬季寒冷，气温可降至零下10摄氏度以下。白色展面的玻璃幕墙，向西延伸至整个一层北侧界面，为室内提供充足的采光，外扩的区域开辟出门厅和等候区，既变化步入餐厅的节奏，又增加空间的保温性能。

Xining has cool and pleasant summers, but cold winters where temperatures can drop below minus 10 degrees Celsius. The glass curtain wall of the white display surface extends westwards along the entire north side of the first floor, providing ample daylight for the interior. The expanded area creates an entrance hall and a waiting area, both changing the rhythm of entering the restaurant and increasing the space’s thermal insulation performance.

建筑西侧人行步道外栽种着北方特有的松树景观，结合高原气候带来的充足日照，我们将原本墙面改为可折叠的玻璃门，消隐室内外界限，让光、空气、景观充分进入室内。

Northern China unique pine tree landscape are planted outside the pedestrian walkway on the west side of the building. Combined with the ample sunshine brought by the plateau climate, we replaced the original wall with foldable glass doors to blur the boundary between inside and outside, allowing light, air, and the landscape to fully enter the interior.

西宁冬季寒冷，窗外的松林景观，启发设计对空间森自然系氛围的营造。我们联手虫椿洲艺术设计师孙小诗，在空间不同点位打造了花艺装置和花草植物景观。

Xining’s winters are cold. The pine forest landscape outside the window inspired the design’s creation of a natural, forest-like atmosphere in the space. We partnered with art designer Sun Xiaoshi from Chongchunzhou Art to create floral installations and flower and plant landscapes at different points in the space.

对细节的注重，能带来更加微小的感受，设计师孙小诗为餐厅打造了多组植物微景观，玻璃柜里的缩微景观有着不同的故事脉络，生动有趣，来到餐厅的客人可以关注、停留、探索，加深对空间的记忆。

Paying attention to details can bring about more subtle experiences. Designer Sun Xiaoshi created multiple groups of plant micro-landscapes for the restaurant. The miniature landscapes inside the glass cabinets have different storylines, vivid and interesting. Guests coming to the restaurant can pay attention, linger, and explore, deepening their memory of the space.

03错落有致

Picturesque Staggering

项目占据整栋建筑的三层空间，一层和二层部分区域作为餐厅对外开放，二、三层兼具烘焙、办公和仓储功能。一层场地层高6.4米，为了合理利用场地，增加就餐座位，我们在一层的西、南区域搭建了一个L型夹层空间，夹层向西侧外延形成一个悬挑阳台，悬挑阳台能够与室内夹层区实现联通，组合成相对私密的独立区域，为举办宴会和小型活动提供可能。

The project occupies the three-story space of the entire building. The first floor and part of the second floor are open to the public as the restaurant, while the second and third floors also serve functions of baking, office, and storage. The first-floor site has a floor height of 6.4 meters. To utilize the site reasonably and increase seating, we built an L-shaped mezzanine space in the west and south areas of the first floor. The mezzanine extends outward on the west side to form a cantilevered balcony. The cantilevered balcony can connect with the indoor mezzanine area, combining to form a relatively private independent area, providing possibilities for hosting banquets and small events.

After constructing the staggered relationship through the mezzanine space, the partially double-height area still retains an open spatial feeling. Under the logic of establishing an open layout, it implies the need for sufficient security and a sense of enclosure.

因此，我们在一层空间中搭建了多根火烧板肌理的结构斜撑，既在视觉上影响了空间的尺度感，又产生结构的张力。

Therefore, we erected multiple structural oblique supports with a burnt board texture in the first-floor space. This both visually influences the spatial sense of scale and creates structural tension.

此外，高大的树木景观和大尺寸悬吊的灯具，也有着天然的遮蔽感，又在开敞的布局中，产生丰富的视觉穿插关系；弧形卡座、半包围式的座椅，均是围绕着更加舒适的包裹感而展开。

Furthermore, tall tree elements and large suspended lamps also provide a natural sense of shelter, creating rich visual interplays within the open layout. Arc-shaped banquettes and semi-enclosed seating are all developed around a more comfortable sense of enclosure.

04色彩灵感

Color Inspiration

色彩的选择，灵感来自青海省丰富多样的地貌，青海湖的蓝与绿、丹霞地貌的红、黄河峡谷的黄，多种颜色交织，为空间注入活力。

The choice of color draws inspiration from the rich and diverse landforms of Qinghai Province. The blue and green of Qinghai Lake, the red of the Danxia landform, and the yellow of the Yellow River canyon—multiple colors interweave, injecting vitality into the space.

除了色彩的层次，多元的材质也创造出丰富的感知，空间中部分墙⾯的肌理，沿用IM FINE西安店的做法，⼿⼯批挂出凹凸、粗细和深浅的变化，红色水磨石地面、白色铝板、黑色炭化木纹、绒布、皮面的软装陈设，温暖亲近，又带着一些精致俏皮。

Besides the layering of color, diverse materials also create rich perceptions. The texture of some walls in the space follows the practice of the IM FINE Xi’an store, manually applied to create variations in concavity and convexity, coarseness and fineness, and depth. Red terrazzo floors, white aluminum panels, black carbonized wood grain, velvet, and leather upholstery for soft furnishings feel warm and intimate, yet with a touch of refined playfulness.

05结语

Conclusion

作为一个成立两年的餐饮品牌，从西安到西宁，一路上，我们与IM FINE从建立信任到陪伴成长，我们希望对空间的设计，如同品牌大手掌logo所传达的问候和微笑，有着一份温暖、善意与美好。

As a restaurant brand for two years, from Xi’an to Xining, along the way, we have built trust with IM FINE and accompanied its growth. We hope that the design of the space, like the greeting and smile conveyed by the brand’s big hand logo, carries warmth, kindness, and beauty.
