Poltrona Ginasta

Durante nossas conversas no escritório e desenvolvimento criativo, começamos a falar sobre as Olimpíadas e o distanciamento das marcas com relação aos atletas. Que a falta de incentivo não é só do governo, mas também de empresas de pequeno, médio e grande porte. Pensando nisso, por que não homenagear uma atleta com nosso design?

Daí veio a poltrona Ginasta.

Além de ser uma mulher incrível, decidimos homenagear a Rebeca por tantas pautas que ela representa. O design traz consigo as características das modalidades que ela atua e que é medalhista, trouxemos a feminilidade e a elegância da ginasta em cada escolha de material e proporção.

A paleta de cores veio através dos aparelhos utilizados na ginástica nas Olimpiadas de Paris 2024, onde tínhamos a presença do aço e deste bege mais claro nos aparelhos e fizemos uma referência à mesa de salto (aparelho preferido de Rebeca) que também foi desenhado por um brasileiro - Siegfried Fischer projetou a mesa de salto, que substituiu o antigo cavalo e revolucionou a ginástica.

Poltrona Ginasta

During our office conversations and creative development, we began discussing the Olympics and the distance brands have from athletes. We also discussed the lack of incentives not only from the government, but also from small, medium, and large companies. With that in mind, why not honor an athlete with our design?

This led to the creation of the Ginasta chair.

Besides being an incredible woman, we decided to honor Rebeca for the many issues she represents. The design reflects the characteristics of the sports she competes in and is a medalist in. We incorporated the femininity and elegance of the gymnast in every choice of material and proportion.

The color palette came from the gymnastics apparatus used in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where we used steel and this lighter beige on the apparatus. We also referenced the vaulting table (Rebeca's favorite apparatus), which was also designed by a Brazilian. Siegfried Fischer designed the vaulting table, which replaced the old horse and revolutionized gymnastics.
