LANDSCAPE CONCEPT
Landscape Concept Design – Harmony of the Four Elements
This project envisions a small residential outdoor area designed to celebrate the natural balance of water, fire, air, and earth. The space becomes an intimate retreat where each element harmonizes to offer a multisensory experience, fostering relaxation, meditation, and social connection.
The design emphasizes a seamless dialogue between human and natural environments. Entrances and exits flow together, guiding visitors through spaces where nature merges with art to create a vibrant yet tranquil atmosphere.
Key features include:
Pine tree at the entrance: Symbolizing family unity, longevity, resilience, and enduring connections.
Water feature: A minimalist table with cascading water, representing the fluid connection between natural elements and modern design.
Social corner: Stone benches and comfortable seating nestled in lush greenery for convivial gatherings.
Fire element: A flame set in solid stone, embodying warmth, togetherness, and hospitality.
Transition spaces: Alternating stone paving, earth, and grass create gentle separations, leading to intimate areas.
Sensory retreat: The soft sounds of water, rustling leaves, and wind, paired with curated plants and art, encourage contemplation and reconnection with nature.
Overall, the Yulong Mingdi Residence landscape transforms a small outdoor area into a sanctuary of well-being, inspiration, and elemental harmony, where every moment is enriched by the subtle presence of the four elements.
