HAPPINESS IS A WAVE

Exhibition of an architectural maquette exploring the spatial possibilities of parametric design

The project was conceived as an abstract paper form, free from preconceived solutions, and envisioned as a fluctuating wave—solid yet dynamic—shaped by intricate geometries. The suspended sculpture is the outcome of extensive handcrafted experimentation, where a simple white sheet of paper is transformed to reveal its spatial and three-dimensional potential.

The work highlights the narrative power of abstraction and the limitless possibilities that emerge when parametric thinking intersects with material exploration. By reinterpreting the two-dimensional into spatial form, the project becomes a metaphor for happiness as movement and transformation.

The maquette was exhibited at the AMDL CIRCLE architectural firm in Milan and during Milan Design Week, where it served as a reflection on how experimental processes can inform design practice and expand architectural imagination.
