Cultiva, the leading international fresh-cut fruit and vegetable producer has created the first greenhouse complex with a protective atmosphere on the American East Coast.

The offices were designed by EligoStudio and they span three floors. They are made entirely from shipping containers, which were assembled and disassembled in Italy so that they could be shipped across the ocean.

There is a strong industrial flavour to the finishes and spaces, which preserve the essence of the constituent parts. The containers have been fused with each other to form rooms, courtyards and terraces with vast expanses of glazing to instil a sense of openness between them.
