Susanna Cots, the interior architect, has recently opened her new studio in Begur, in the heart of the Empordà, working with the emotional elements that most clearly identify her interior design projects. A space to enjoy the light in its warmest form The history hidden behind the walls of the Susanna Cots' new interior design studio in the Empordà can be felt through the stones and a part of the roof in the form of a traditional vault. The light created in this environment transforms the space into a warm, cosy study in which creating and designing inspired by the surroundings is much more stimulating. Her organic hallmark is found in a small green lung in a glass cube that enables the nature of the Empordà to be integrated and encapsulated and transform it into the centrepiece of one of the 70 slow cities around the world. White and the slow philosophy, allies to achieve comfort and creativity The designer remains faithful to white in her new studio, which she has equipped with a myriad of creature comforts that help put her philosophy of slow life and work into practice day by day, a slow philosophy that is embraced both in her design habits and in the studio’s daily routines. The team not only cooks and shares their lunches in a bulthaup kitchen designed to be enjoyed in open spaces, but they also take part in yoga sessions once a week. A space to share slow design in all its facets.
