There is a fragment of time that has become here and now a fragment of space that has become inside and outside a fragment of water that has become calculated a fragment of stone that has become liquid stone a fragment of light that has become unexpected a fragment of canvas that has become a work of art a fragment of memory that has become history. There is a fragment of a fragment that has become the whole.

It is in this part of the lake, between its different pasts and its lost original function, that one recognises a sort of time outside of history, in which the individual who contemplates it becomes sensitive, as if it helped him to understand the duration of time that flows within him. In this place, time and instant. The geometries divide the outside world from the intimate and private space of the house.

门廊标示着这一“内与外”之间的通道，庇护着一片水域，使其免受湖水无序的流动与Punta Spartivento区域风势的侵扰。唯有厚重的材料才能承受此地的力量。于是，液态混凝土被注入木质模板中，凝结成如石般坚硬的实体，化为被设计、被描摹的形体。试图控制阳光的意图终将被自然打破——水面的反光、树木的阴影、空气的流动不断推动云层的变幻。

The portico marks this passage between inside and outside, protecting a portion of water from the uncontrolled current of the lake and the wind in the Punta Spartivento’s area. Only a heavy material can withstand the force of this place. So liquid concrete was poured into wooden formwork to become as hard as stone, taking on designed and traced shapes. The presumption of controlling the sunlight is belied by the reflections of the water, the shadows of the trees and the movements of the air that constantly moves the clouds.

A site where the force of nature always prevails and where history is sedimented under a thick layer of blanket, the sails of the comballi lying on the bottom of Lake Como bear witness to the past. All these fragments come together in a thought that this publication wishes to propose to the reader.
