当城市的钢筋森林日益压缩自然的呼吸空间，人们对走向郊野、探寻自然野趣的向往愈发迫切。武汉麓客岛，一座由万华地产擘画的文旅秘境，以自然乌托邦为灵魂内核，在城市近郊铺展开一幅人与自然共生的图景。它并非简单的景观堆砌或功能集合，而是从整体规划到节点营造，贯穿让自然成为主角，建筑与景观共语的思考，以“低介入、高融合” 为策略，编织了一个自然叙事的脉络。

As urban concrete jungles increasingly encroach upon natural spaces, the desire to escape to the wilderness and reconnect with untamed nature grows ever more urgent. In response, Wuhan LuxeIsland—a cultural tourism destination conceived by Wuhan Wide Horizon Real Estate—emerges as a natural utopia on the city’s fringe, unfolding a vision of harmonious coexistence between people and the environment. Far from a mere assemblage of landscapes or functional zones, the project is imbued with a consistent design philosophy: allowing nature to take center stage, while architecture and landscape engage in continuous dialogue. Guided by a “low-intervention, high-integration” approach, it weaves a coherent narrative of nature from the macro scale down to the smallest detail.

建筑以“消隐者”与“对话者”的双重身份介入场地。形式上顺应丘陵起伏的肌理布局，以自然形态勾勒轮廓。同时通过檐下灰空间、半开放界面的设计，模糊室内外边界，连接人与景观，让空间体验成为与游客动态的开放性对话。▼设计手稿，sketch ©ZAD

The architecture intervenes in the site as both a “vanishing presence” and a “conversationalist.” Its form responds to the rolling topography, tracing the land’s natural contours. Through the incorporation of sheltered grey spaces under eaves and semi-open transitional zones, the boundaries between interior and exterior are intentionally blurred. These elements connect visitors with the surrounding landscape, transforming spatial experience into an open, dynamic dialogue between people and place.

项目伊始，我们携自然庇护所的憧憬，以三条屋顶曲线勾勒出屋顶，曲线分别向场地内轻微收束。屋顶下方是三个彼此独立椭圆空间，弧形的边界弱化了建筑与环境的边界。三个室内空间承担了卫生间、储物和园区功能用房，檐下的灰空间则是弹性的休闲活动区。我们通过间距控制与曲线走向，使三个空间形成视觉与动线的连续性，也让阳光能够渗透进空间内部。设计让墙体和屋顶脱开，让雨棚更具有漂浮体态，同时也尽量让空气自然流通，减少对机械通风的依赖。让建筑拥有“自然呼吸”的能力，也是呼应了园区生态优先的规划理念。

From the outset, inspired by the idea of a natural refuge, we defined the roof with three gently converging curves. Beneath this canopy, three independent elliptical volumes house the restrooms, storage, and park support facilities. Their soft, curved profiles help dissolve the visual barrier between built form and natural setting. The eaves-sheltered grey space serves as a flexible area for leisure and activity. By carefully calibrating the spacing and curvature, we established both visual continuity and a natural flow of movement between the volumes, while also allowing daylight to permeate the interior. The separation of walls from roof enhances the canopy’s floating appearance, promotes passive ventilation, and reduces mechanical reliance—ultimately enabling the structure to “breathe.” This approach aligns with the park’s overarching ecological planning principles.

设计过程中，我们注入“筒”这一元素，让他们嵌入屋顶和墙体。材料上顺应雨棚，使原本平面的耐候钢屋顶延申到地面，成为与游客互动的空间。我们特意将乔木纳入筒的核心，让树木成为这个空间的主角。空间也在筒与树阴形成庇护共生的关系下形成双重包裹。筒内预留了休憩座椅的空间，目前暂受乔木支撑木限制暂未放置。不过游客仍可以步入其中，体验这份宁静。

As the design evolved, we introduced cylindrical ”flowerpot” embedded within both the roof and walls. Clad in the same Corten steel as the canopy, these elements extend the roof plane downward, transforming it into an interactive, tactile experience for visitors. At the heart of each tube, a tree is positioned as the focal point—establishing a symbiotic relationship between architecture and nature, where shelter and dappled shade together create a sense of dual enclosure. Although seating was originally planned inside the tubes, temporary tree supports have delayed its installation. Nevertheless, visitors are invited to step inside and immerse themselves in the tranquil atmosphere.

为构建与自然的深度对话。我们采用混凝土与耐候钢的经典组合：混凝土的厚重和浇筑时的纹理呼应了场地的肌理；耐候钢则会随时间变化沉淀出铁锈红，与环境形成温暖的色彩共鸣。让建筑像自然一样拥有生长和时间的痕迹。

To foster a deeper dialogue with nature, we selected a material palette centered on concrete and Corten steel. The robust presence and textured finish of concrete echo the site’s inherent materiality, while the Corten steel develops a rich, rust-red patina over time—resonating warmly with the surroundings. Through this choice, the architecture acquires the traces of growth and weathering, much like the natural world itself.

室内则更为温润细腻，暖色哑光地砖配合陶土色手工砖，细微的颗粒感与纹路让体验更加亲近。当游客从室外步入室内的温润砖石空间，触感与温度的转变，让人从自然探索切换到温暖庇护的状态。

The interior offers a warmer, more tactile counterpoint to the exterior. Warm-toned matt-finish floor tiles combine with terracotta hand-laid bricks, their subtle granular textures enhancing the sense of intimacy. As visitors transition from the outdoors into this gently enveloping brick-and-stone environment, the shift in both tactile sensation and ambient temperature guides them from a state of exploration to one of sheltered repose.
