WATG出席广州之窗皇冠假日酒店签约仪式

近日，广州之窗皇冠假日酒店签约仪式在广州之窗商务港（简称广州之窗）举行。项目开发商中交第四航务工程局有限公司与IHG洲际酒店集团现场签约，标志着洲际皇冠假日酒店品牌正式落户广州之窗。WATG协同副总裁兼中国区资深总监刘好扬先生代表室内设计团队出席了此次活动。广州之窗皇冠假日酒店由Wimberly Interiors（WATG旗下室内设计工作室）设计，Wimberly Interiors以一个航海家的旅程为视角，为项目提出了总体设想。

The signing ceremony of Crowne Plaza Window of Guangzhou was recently held at Guangzhou Window Business Port (“Guangzhou Window” for short). Designed by Wimberly Interiors (WATG’s interior design firm), the overall vision for the project is framed through the eyes of a navigator on a journey across the water. Representing the team at the event was Liu Haoyang, Vice President and Senior Director in China, alongside representatives of the investor and developer CCCC Fourth Harbour Engineering Company and the hotel brand IHG Hotels and Resorts.

广州皇冠假日酒店建面约3.3万平方米，设计有292间客房，是目前方圆五公里内唯一在建的国际五星级高端商务酒店。

刘好扬先生在签约现场发表致辞，他表示：

“WATG 和Wimberly Interiors 专注于为城市、旅游、度假目的地提供策略咨询、项目规划、建筑设计、景观设计、室内设计等跨领域多专业的一站式设计。

”他指出，此次与业主方中交第四航务工程局有限公司和品牌方IHG洲际酒店集团的合作，更是一次强强联手。

This signing ceremony marks the official settlement of Crowne Plaza InterContinental at Guangzhou Window. With a construction area of approximately 33,000 square meters, the 292-rooms hotel is currently the only international five-star high-end business hotel under development within a five kilometer radius. During his speech at the signing ceremony, Mr Liu Haoyang said, “WATG and Wimberly Interiors focus on providing professional multi-disciplinary integrated services, including strategic consulting, project planning, and architectural, landscape and interior design in urban and leisure destinations.” He pointed out that the collaboration with the property and brand owners is a powerful alliance.

未能到场的WATG和Wimberly Interiors的总裁兼首席执行官David Moore先生，和Wimberly Interiors伦敦工作室总监Rachel Johnson女士也预录了VCR致辞。

During the ceremony, pre-recorded video speeches by Mr David Moore, President and CEO of WATG and Wimberly Interiors, and Ms Rachel Johnson, Studio Director of Wimberly Interiors London, were shared.

David Moore 先生在讲话中代表WATG 和Wimberly Interiors室内设计团队，对这次合作机会表达感谢：“我们非常荣幸能够与中交第四航务工程局有限公司和洲际酒店集团合作，共同打造这个广州乃至大中华区的标志性项目。 ”他表示，在过去的77年里，与目光宏大的客户建立关系一直是WATG 和Wimberly Interiors的重中之重，“与大家一样，我们同样对酒店行业充满热情，并致力于为宾客和访客创造非凡的体验。”

On behalf of WATG and Wimberly Interiors’ design team, Mr David Moore expressed his gratitude for this collaboration opportunity, “We are incredibly honored to partner with CCCC Fourth Habour Engineering Company and IHG Hotels and Resorts on this landmark project for Guangzhou and Greater China.” Emphasizing that relationships with visionary clients have been the lifeblood of WATG and Wimberly Interiors over the past 77 years, he added that “We share your passion for hospitality and commitment towards creating extraordinary experiences for all guests and visitors.”

Wimberly Interiors伦敦工作室总监Rachel Johnson女士则从设计角度做了更多分享：“酒店坐落在广州港的边缘，可以看到航道和城市的景色，我们深入研究了整个地块的特色和过往的历史，同时也尝试想象它未来的蓝图。”

Speaking from a design perspective, Ms Rachel Johnson, Studio Director of Wimberly Interiors London, shared that “the hotel is situated on the edge of Guangzhou’s port with views across both the river and the city. We looked deeply into the nature of the site and what came before – while also trying to imagine its future.”

Wimberly Interiors设计团队正是在深入研究地区历史的基础上，以水为参照物，以一个航海家的旅程为视角，为项目提出了总体设想——既反映出皇冠假日酒店品牌和广州这座城市的国际化特质，又与酒店引人注目的建筑风格相得益彰，最终的呈现是对这一旅程的现代、国际化的诠释。

Based on in-depth research on the history of the area, Wimberly Interiors’ design reflects the cosmopolitan nature of both the Crowne Plaza brand and Guangzhou as a city, as well as complementing the striking, architectural statement building that the hotel is housed within. The end result is a contemporary, international interpretation of that journey.

虽然项目仍处于早期的概念阶段，但当酒店落成开业后，宾客将跟随着这些设计，踏上精彩的发现之旅——穿过酒店宏伟的公共空间，包括大堂、23楼的全景观景台、挑高足够且充满韵律感的用餐空间和宴会厅，最后将会抵达客房，在宁静放松的氛围中感受家的感觉。

Whilst the project is still in the earliest stages of conceptualization, once opened, hotel guests will embark on a rich journey of discovery through its grand public spaces which include the lobby, panoramic views from the 23rd floor Skydeck, rhythmic double-height dining spaces and the ballroom, before culminating in that feeling of peace, relaxation and home in the guest rooms.
