Pug Seal Tennyson is located in a 1940s mansion in Neocolonial or Californian Colonial style that was very popular at that time in the Chapultepec and Polanco areas in Mexico City. The house harbors many decades of history heritage, memories, feelings and surely many emotions. All these moments, feelings, nostalgia is what we at German Velasco Arquitectos picked up to create the Hotel Pug Seal history.

The Polanco area in Mexico City has a huge influence in the history of architect Germán Velasco, director of the firm, since he visited frequently his grandparents who lived in that zone. "I loved visiting my grandparents' house in Polanco. I always discovered different things that kept me sensitive, receptive to all the information that existed inside and out, at the park, the clock, the pond, the aviary, the swings, the people, the colors, the urban elements "GV.
