PROJECT OWNER : TARGET DESIGN OFFICE .ALMA TOWER IS A PROJECT AT ALMA DESTINATION A NEW SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN JEDDAH CITY .The building is aligned with the unique site geometry to maximize both climatic performance and contextual harmony.

A two-tower design is adopted, strategically oriented with the void between them aligned toward the prevailing northwest wind to promote natural cross-ventilation. This configuration increases façade exposure to the wind, while also opening up panoramic views toward the canal and marina.

The articulated massing allows the built volumes to cast shadows onto one another, reducing overall heat gain and enhancing the environmental performance of the façades

Deep recessed terraces are integrated into all façades — serving a dual purpose:

On northwest façades, they buffer wind pressure and improve user comfort.

On southeast, south, and southwest façades, they function as horizontal shading devices, significantly reducing solar gain.

A staggered massing breaks down the visual scale of the towers & The openness between towers provides a sense of visual connection and openness to the surrounding context.

The design embraces curved corners and a slender vertical proportion to create a sculptural, welcoming, and iconic form that acts as a natural gateway into the project.

This configuration achieves a balanced relationship between passive cooling, solar control, scenic views, and urban identity.
