Here, people find serenity after the hustle and bustle, immersed in soft golden light, subtle woody scents, and walls adorned with PUKACO’s warm pearl-toned Concrete Effect.

The space is designed following the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi – the beauty of simplicity, stillness, and imperfection.Every detail, from wooden tables and bamboo curtains to the PUKACO Concrete Effect walls, contributes to a story of humility and refinement – core values of Japanese culture.

Material – The Soul of the Space

Without relying on luxurious materials, PUKACO’s concrete-effect finish was chosen as the main backdrop for AKATAIYO.Warm beige tones with pearl highlights interact with soft lighting, evoking the gentle sunlight filtered through a Shoji screen delicate, muted, and poetic.

Each wall is handcrafted, creating natural visual depth raw yet gentle embodying the essence of Shibui: quietly beautiful.The smooth, cool surface invites touch, letting diners experience the spirit of Japan not only through taste but through every sense.

When Experience Becomes a Ritual

AKATAIYO doesn’t simply serve food; it crafts a ritual of enjoyment.As guests move through the space, they are guided through a series of emotional cues:From the wooden hallway, to the traditional dining tables, to the red lanterns welcoming them warmly.

Each private corner is intentionally arranged low lighting and measured silence encourage diners to feel the connection between people, known in Japanese as “Wa” harmony.
