        广东的塱头作为拥有丰厚建筑遗产的古村，截至两年前仍然跻身“空心村”的行列。

塱头实验

 是一场促进社会、文化与环境协调发展的乡村振兴计划，通过汇集来自不同领域的参与者——从北京的建筑师、上海的文保专家、广州的企业家、巴黎的艺术学者，到当地的艺术活动者与经营者——共同为塱头这片濒临消逝的社区注入新生机。

        Until two years ago, Langtou was one of the nearly empty ancient villages in Guangdong Province of China with remarkable architectural heritage. The

Langtou Experiment

 is a social, cultural, and environmental endeavor that tries to bring life back to this dying community with people from near and far with knowledges of vastly different fields, from architects from Beijing, preservationists from Shanghai, entrepreneurs from Guangzhou, art scholars from Paris to Langtou villagers who are revitalization activists and small business owners.

 在本届威尼斯建筑双年展上，非常建筑受邀以装置的形式记录并呈现 

塱头实验

祠堂书室群落与当代建筑形成共荣的时空拼贴；视频通过“空间屏”、“人物屏”、“文字屏”的三重分屏形式，记录当地自然与建筑肌理的融合过程与参与者的愿景。

        At this year’s 

Biennale di Venezia

, Atelier FCJZ is invited to showcase the 

Langtou Experiment

 in the form of installation. The 

Langtou Experiment

 is manifested through both large scaled models of the village vicinity and videoed documentaries. While the models display the spatial scope of the revitalization effort from a wider, planning perspective, showing in juxtaposition of the ancient village with its traditional houses and some of the recent architectural developments; the tri-fold videos document on three separate screens the natural and architectural establishments in the area, various project stakeholders through interviews, and slogans conveying ideas behind the project. 

各种展示媒介被整合进两个胶合木模型箱里——它们既是保护模型漂洋过海的运输箱，展开后也是模型展台，同时箱盖又是影像放映平台。这种蕴含机动性、多样性和可持续的展陈策略，与 

塱头实验

 的核心精神形成巧妙呼应。

The media of representation are unified under the protective, plywood model crates which are both a safety measure during transportation, and, once deployed, a transformed podium for model display and a folded platform for video-screening. The approach, embedded with the ideas of motivation, diversity, and sustainability, echoes the core objective of the 

Langtou Experiment

 itself.
